Markdown for Wordpress?
Does anyone know which version of Markdown is best for Wordpress? I see online that there are a few and was wondering which one people prefer. Also, is there any chance John Gruber will write an official Markdown plugin for Wordpress, given how popular it's becoming? -------------------------------------------------------- robdumas at gmail.com http://obnoxio.us/

php markdown toolbar
Back at the end of March I wrote: > http://www.elfden.co.uk/wip/markdown/ I think I have now finished work on this. The toolbar only appears if javascript is enabled. So far as I can tell it is navigable by the keyboard. Accesskeys can be set for those that need them (though I am not happy with the way my script is currently working). I have taken out the 'P' button, though

PHPBB+Centos
I'm having a hard time getting PHPBB installed on Centos. We get the error that The PHP configuration on your server doesn't support the database type that you chose. We choose MySQL 3.x but get that error. Perhaps PHP4 isn't compatible with MySQL 3.23.58-1? -- <<JAV>>

Need copy of Wiki Page on phpBB integration and signon
I am in Wiki hell thanks to the morons that are spamming the wili. I went to check on the articles for integrating with phpBB as I was going to code it today and it is gone. The back in time function doesn''t work either. Does anyone have a copy of the wiki from this page? HowtosDoSingleSignOnWithPHPbb -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

phpbb forum with rails application.
I would like to knock up a phpbb forum with a rails application. I wanted to do this as I want to use ActiveRecord to crawl through the user database in the rails app. Is there a way to do this - on the same domain name and server... Or does it depend how the server is setup? -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

Markdown, SmartyPants and Wordpress?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'm redesigning my site and considering moving from Movable Type to WP, but many of my entries are in Markdown. I really, really like Markdown and SmartyPants. I've not used Textile much, but Markdown feels more natural to me; also, I love SmartyPants because I'm a stickler for curly quotes. I understand there's a Markdown

Calibre-bbcode gem installation problem
Hi all! Just a little problem here: I have run gem install calibre-bbcode, and it worked. Then, I added "require ''calibre/bbcode''" in my environnment.rb as suggested , and it keeps telling me "no such file to load -- calibre/bbcode" If I try to reinstall the gem, it tells me "successfully installed calibre-bbcode-1.0.0 after doing nothing. vBulletin integration
Is anyone doing any Rails integration with a vBulletin installation? If so, are you interacting with the database tables directly or going through one of the higher-level APIs? How is it working for you? Sincerely, Tom Lieber tom@alltom.com http://AllTom.com/

prototype.js and vBulletin
I''m hoping this is the right place to ask this question. I''ve been hitting my head against the wall trying to incorporate prototype (and then scriptaculous) into vBulletin but am having some issues that I cannot resolve. Has anyone ever accomplished this task? I can post more details if anyone things they can help. Thanks.

Why no forum app in rails yet?
Hi Guys, So creating a forums application seems like something that rails can handle easily and well, and whatever implementation that came to fruition would be head and shoulders above existing products like vBulliten and phpBB. Even the existing rails forums are using php-based forum products! An insult if you ask me. So my question -- is there any current development of a rails-based
