total outage - almost
Hi, we use a bunch of replicated gluster volumes as a backend for our backup. Yesterday I noticed that some synthetic backups failed because of I/O errors. Today I ran "find /gluster_vol -type f | xargs md5sum" and got loads of I/O errors. The brick log file shows the below errors [2017-06-19 13:42:33.554875] E [MSGID: 116020] [bit-rot-stub.c:566:br_stub_check_bad_object]

Webrick script/server file does not exist
Hello all, I worked fairly enough with PHP and MySQL, but am very new to Ruby. I have Windows machine with Apache and MySQL installed previously. Both Apache and MySql were stopped while installing Ruby. I tried several ways to install Ruby 1.8.7 and one-step installer. I can use Ruby with netbeans 6.0.1 with its own Ruby or with the one I installed now. The problem starts when I try to create

How to disable ORM in Rails 3
Is there any way to prevent Rails 3 from using an ORM? In Rails 2, it used to have a description in environments.rb explaining how to do that. In Rails 3, is there any way to tell it to not use any database? I was trying to make some benchmarks from situations that don''t require a database... Thanks in advance, Rodrigo. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to

RES: AgentLogin / AgentCallbackLogin transfer pro blem
Hmm i found the problem... I?m using a Grandstream BT100. The transfer just works in a queue if I first acknowledged the call using the # key, and then press the TRANSFER key in the Grandstream. In the asterisk console I receive a: -- SIP/4002-4563 acknowledged Then I can transfer the call... Weird because i?m using ackcall=NO in agents.conf ... Diego Magalh?es diego@redetaho.com.br +55 24

puppet won't change user's password
Hi! I''m trying to set password for a user. I do the following: user { "username": password => ''*'', } And when I run puppet agent nothing happens. The password remains the same. But if I create a new user which doesn''t exist yet, the password is set without any problems. Is this a normal behaviour of ''user'' type? --

Positioning Oddities
I''m having some trouble using Element#cumulativeOffset and Element#cumulativeScrollOffset to absolutely position an element right under a link in certain browsers. I made a couple of tests to illustrate the issue, which can be found here: http://www.jeffreykeen.com/sandbox/position. But in summary, I''ve found two cases which seem to be problematic. 1.
