[PATCH v3 0/7] support for cubieboard2 / sunxi processors
See http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/xen/devel/297170 for some information on how to get this going. I''ve rebased and addressed the review comments. With this rebase I''ve picked up some patches from Julien which were required to do things properly, so the gic v7 and device blacklisting patches have been changed to use the proper mechanisms. Previously I was able to boot

[PATCH RFC 0/8] xen/arm: initial cubieboard2 support.
See http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/xen/devel/297170 for some information on how to get this going. I''ve rebased and addressed the review comments. As before several of the patches are not to be applied because they can be done better using infrastructure from Julien''s "Allow Xen to boot with a raw Device Tree" patch. They are included for completeness. With

[PATCH v8 8/5] Add UART support and arch timer initialization for OMAP5
Since OMAP UART has a few distinct features than common 8250 UART, I re-implemented its driver rather than porting it based on ns16550.c. There are mainly two big differences between the implementations. First, OMAP UART introduces the concept of register access mode, which divides the register map into seperated space. Switching the access mode is then necessary when configuring it. Second, THRE

[PATCH+RFC+HACK 00/16] xen: arm initial support for xgene arm64 platform
I''m afraid this series is rather a grab bag and it is distressingly large at this stage. With this series I can boot an Xgene board until it fails to find its SATA controller. This is a dom0 issue for which patches are pending from APM (/me nudges Anup). As well as the APM specific platform stuff there are also some generic improvements which were either necessary or useful during this

Problems when using latest git tree to boot xen on OMAP5
Hi Julien, Since Ian has merged most my OMAP5 patches, I decide to try to update my working tree to it today. However, it seems it doesn't work as expected. There mainly two kind of problems that I met: 1. It seems that xen no longer maps some of io memory regions described in dts. For example, the memory regions in "ocp" node of omap5.dtsi. 2. commit c88d32f4 seems to be conflict

[PATCH] xen: arm: Fixing ttbcr (TCR_EL1 for AArch64) size.
This patch fixes size of ttbcr register (TCR_EL1 in case of AArch64) and it''s programming considering size in case of context switch. Currently ttbcr is defined as 32b register but for AArch64 TCR_EL1 size is 64b. [PATCH 000/102] Convert drivers to explicit reset API
The reset control API has two modes: exclusive access, where the driver expects to have full and immediate control over the state of the reset line, and shared (clock-like) access, where drivers only request reset deassertion while active, but don't care about the state of the reset line while inactive. Commit a53e35db70d1 ("reset: Ensure drivers are explicit when requesting reset

[LLVMdev] Build times on ARM
I recently got a tegra TK1 and was curious how fast it was compared to my previous arm "build machine": the original arm Samsung chromebook. I timed running ninja to build just llvm in Release+Asserts using clang as the host compiler. chromebook: real 84m30.939s user 163m50.145s sys 4m0.100s TK1: real 34m7.376s user 132m44.417s sys 3m3.543s A really nice

[PATCH] xen: arm: make zImage the default target which we install
From: Ian Campbell <ian.campbell@citrix.com> The zImage compatible binary is the useful one on real hardware. The relocated ELF thing is only really useful when booting directly on Fast Models. The customary suffix for that case is .axf so provide that as a target. Signed-off-by: Ian Campbell <ian.campbell@citrix.com> Cc: Wookey <wookey@linaro.org> --- xen/arch/arm/Makefile |

[PATCH 00/22] drm: Convert drivers to drm_simple_encoder_init()
A call to drm_simple_encoder_init() initializes an encoder without further functionality. It only provides the destroy callback to cleanup the encoder's state. Only few drivers implement more sophisticated encoders than that. Most drivers implement such a simple encoder and can use drm_simple_encoder_init() instead. The patchset converts drivers where the encoder's instance is embedded in
