Locating inefficient code
Hi, I have been using R for a few months and I have this working code. Don't seen any problem but this takes a long time. So if I have about 30000 rows it takes a few minutes. If I have 100000 it does not seem to complete. Original Data: Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local-Address Foreign-Address State tcp 0 0 172.20.100.2:60255

sync re-copies emails assigning new UIDs
Hi, I have been (attempting) to transition a company from in-house dovecot 1.x to a hosted dovecot 2.2 setup. I am running the doveadm sync command, and for the four mailboxes have been blocked -- sync'ing seem to be copying the same mails, over and over (note, initially I was using doveadm backup but my reading has indicated that 'doveadm sync' is better) Example: # date

IMAP Voicemail -- HELP! Asterisk not playing Greeting!
I'm using Asterisk 1.4.13, the latest released version. The linux platform is FC7. I setup my Asterisk server to use IMAP storage. Dovecot is the IMAP server. Its storing messages perfectly--no problems. I should also mention that I'm using MySQL for real-time configuration. That must be working (at least partially), because I can authenticate v. the voicemail table. However, the

CoGetClassObject errors
I am running the application using Wine (version 0.9.27) on Fedora 4. The application runs fine. But when I try to access API calls from my testing application, it is unsuccessful with following errors: err:ole:CoGetClassObject class {079aa557-4a18-424a-8eee-e39f0a8d41b9} not registered. Any idea why? Is this Wine problem or I have missed some steps? Thanks. Michael

Migrate from Maildir to mdbox
Looking at http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Migration/MailFormat, I do not see much on how to do a migration from Maildir to mdbox. That page isn't quite updated it looks. I have several domains (virtual) with the following storage layout: /var/spool/virtual/$domain. So the users have their mail stored as follows: /var/spool/virtual/domain1/$user/Maildir /var/spool/virtual/domain2/$user/Maildir

'mgcv' package, problem with predicting binomial (logit) data
Dear R-help list, I?m using the mgcv package to plot predictions based on the gam function. I predict the chance of being a (frequent) participant at theater plays vs. not being a participant by age. Because my outcome variable is dichotomous, I use the binomial family with logit link function. Dataset in attachment, code to read it in R: data <- read.spss("pas_r.sav") attach(data)

Dsync and SIS
Hi all, Just to clarify, if we back up a dovecot 2 server with SIS for attachments and ALT storage by rsyncing it (including the SIS and ALT storage) to a remote server when it's idle (or at least almost entirely so), and run dovecot on that machine, would it seem feasible to restore backups from that server by using dysnc - specifically for the scenario where someone accidentally

[PATCH RESEND 0/1] libxl: introduce an option for disabling the non-O_DIRECT
I think I posted this patch before, but it looks like it was in December 2012 (!). 1/1 libxl: introduce an option for disabling the non-O_DIRECT workaround Ideally it would go into 4.4, at least. Provided the corresponding qemu part has gone into qemu-xen, which I think it has. Can anyone confirm ?

Unusual WEBrick caching behavior
Has anyone ever seen cases where WEBrick caches pages even though it isn''t supposed to/isn''t configured to? I have an application where one of my view templates contains an <IFRAME>. This iframe has a "src" attribute that points to a file that I upload to my RoR server. Then various things happen in the app. and the file is sometimes overwritten, and then

fstab, unusual behavior of "missing UUID"
I have the following as the last line of my /etc/fstab file on a computer running CentOS6.4.. UUID=3b550884-8d05-41a5-a205-17b6d7269dd1 /mnt ext3 rw,suid, dev, exec, noauto, nouser, async 0 2 The UUID refers to an ext3 partition of a removable USB drive. If the USB drive is not plugged into the computer the computer will not boot. It seems that this is the incorrect behavior since

Unusual Block Allocations on OSTs
Hi, I see some unusual block allocations on my OSTs, and I was wondering if someone could explain to my why, and help me to fix a performance problem. In order to track down a performance issue, I ran the following test: - I reformatted my OSTS (I have 4 OSTs). - I created a 10G file on each OST. - I ran dumpe2fs to see if I had some unusual fragmentation going on. dumpe2fs shows

Factanal loadings as large as 1.2 with promax -- how unusual?
I am performing a large (105 variable) factor analysis with factanal, specifying promax rotation. I kow that some loadings over 1.0 are not unsual with that rotation, but I have some as large as 1.2, which seems extreme. I am skirting the assumptions of the model by using responses on a 7-point rating scale as data; I may have to go back and compute polychoric correlations instead of product

[LLVMdev] Generating unusual instruction
Hi, Have you try to directly describe such patterns in tblgen file? Like this: (brcond (i32 (cond_op RC:$rs, RC:$rt)), bb:$offset) MIPS backend does that. I also do this in my own backend, and seem to be working fine. unusual text/mour/menu behaviours
hello, I'm using PlayOnLinux to manage my Wine installations. I am attempting to use FirstClass email client with wine on an Ubuntu 11.10 installation. The application runs well except for a few very annoying things: - when a window first opens, it doesn't interact with the mouse properly: 1) no matter where the window opens on the screen, menus will open in the top corner of the display

Learn Typing Quick & Easy - unusual message from app
A friend of mine gave me a Cd with the "Learn Typing Quick & Easy" program. It installs, but when I ran it, quit with the following message 'Wrong version of operating system; requires Windows NT 3.51 (build 1057 or above) Maybe it would run if I could give it the required version build number (I tried setting the Windows version to NT 3.51, but that didn't satisfy it).
