Swfdec and Ffmpeg only
Hi, I'm the founder and still very active developer of Puppy Linux, and a variant named Quirky. Puppy is a cut-down distro, typically 100MB live-CD. We have always used the Adobe Flash player, though I have stayed with the Flash 9 player (9.0.48.0) due to its smaller size. Puppy also has ffmpeg, xine-lib and gxine. Recently I have been experimenting with Swfdec and Swfdec-mozilla. I started

However, in order to estimate the pathogen population sizes I had to destroy the plant unit and could not determine if that plant unit became diseased or to what extent it would have become diseased. Hello everyone, I wonder if there is anyone who live around Alexandria, Virginia, US who would be interested in coming to my college and give a short speech / introduction to students about Ruby on Rails. It does not have to be formal but you can just show them why Rails would be a much better choice for projects instead of ASP and J2EE they are teaching here. It would be even better if you are

Data source for American college football rankings?
An interesting, and topical, example of multivariate data for classroom illustrations are the American college football rankings. Starting at the end of October (or "week 8", the 8th week of the football season) a set of rankings called the BCS (Bowl Championship Series) will be published. This is a composite ranking based on two subjective polls, the Harris and USA Today polls, and a

College student printer for CentOS 5.4 x86_64?
Oldest son came back from college and wants a printer for his Dell laptop. I built it with CentOS 5.3 x86_64 several months ago and will upgrade it to 5.4 The Cannon printer he now has (bought with the laptop and Vista through the university book store), doesn't seem to have linux drivers. I built the machine with Vista and CentOS in dual-boot, so he could manage his iTunes and use the
