Troubleshooting TDMs (Packet capture like debugging)
Hi All,
I am looking for a way to troubleshoot issues with TDM (E1) trunks
with a provider.
Currently with SIP trunks I am using tcpdump to perform packet
captures between our gateways and the SIP providers IPs, capturing
traffic on all ports, to include both the SIP messages and the RTP
stream.
How can I achieve a similar result on TDM links connected to TDM cards
in Asterisk servers, where by

plotting survival curves with model parameters
Hello.
I am trying to write an R function to plot the survival function (and
associated hazard and density) for a Siler competing hazards model.
This model is similar to the Gompertz-Makeham, with the addition of a
juvenile component that includes two parameters---one that describes
the initial infant mortality rate, and a negative exponential that
describes typical mortality decline over the

real SATA RAID
Hi
Last week I had a lengthy thread in which someone indicated the my SIL
card is a FRAID (don't know if F stands for the F word or Fake, though it
doesn't really matter). I want to replace the controller with a controller
that Linux will see the RAID1 group as a single HD and not multiple HDs as
it happens with the SIL controller. Recommendations anyone?

[newbie] trouble with global variables and CreateLoad/Store in JIT
Since the getelementptrs were implicitly generated by the CreateStore/Load
I'm not sure how to get access to them.
So I hacked the assignment to be done thrice: once using a manual
decomposition into two GEPs and stores, once using the "big" CreateStore,
once via the setGlobal function, printing addresses and memory contents at
each point to the degree that I have access to them.

Problem installing CentOS 5.0
I decided to replace Suse 10.1 with Centos 5.0 on my file server. Im
getting stuck right after I select the keyboard layout.
I get the following message on the console:
/dev/sdb: "sil" and "pdc" formats discovered ( using pdc)!
and it just hangs there. I think sil and pdc are referring to the
onboard raid chips that the drive was attached to. This drive was

Reversed but positive axis in trellis plots?
Hi,
In my discpipline, it is common to plot one acoustic property on a
positive scale but from top to bottom on the ordinate and the same for
another measurement on the abscissa.
So, the origin of the plot is on the top right of the plot, with
increasing values to the left /down. This is to highlight the
correlation between the acoustic measurement and the position of the
forming structure, for

Grandstream Budge Tone 101 keeps deregistering
Hello,
I have a problem with one of three [topic] phones. The phone, which is
on the LAN in the same subnet as Asterisk, keeps unregistering from the
Asterisk server. Whan it is unregistered there is no way to make a phone
call from it, but once it is rang by any other of the phones it
registers to Asterisk again. The other two are absolutely fine.
The problematic one [ecco] puts this messages
