Problem running stepAIC within a function.
Hi I need to a function that automatically fits a regression to data, using the stepAIC. I've ran the code manually and it works fine. However, when I run the function on the same data, the following error occurs: Problem in regimp(fullsim = simt, fullsim1 = simt1,..: Length of (weights) (variable 4) is 4271 != length of others (4278) I got the function to output the length of the dataset

Dear all! I have a data frame composed by 13 columns (year, and 12 months). I want to transform this data base in another like this year month values 1901 1 1901 2 1901 3 ..... 1901 12 1902 1 1902 2 .... 1902 12 Is there a possibility to succeed that in R? sharing a ssd between rpool and l2arc
Hi, as Richard Elling wrote earlier: "For more background, low-cost SSDs intended for the boot market are perfect candidates. Take a X-25V @ 40GB and use 15-20 GB for root and the rest for an L2ARC. For small form factor machines or machines with max capacity of 8GB of RAM (a typical home system) this can make a pleasant improvement over a HDD-only implementation." For the upcoming

Problem installing Asterisk with Mandrake 9.1
Hi All, I am trying to get Asterisk up and running on my new Mandrake 9.1 install. I've installed Linux in the "standard" mandrake security mode, and "su" to do my attempts at install. I managed to obtain the source from CVS, and have been able to compile Zaptel. I then ran insmod zaptel, and also make config. I think I have compiled and loaded Zaptel successfully as

Xen 3.03 - no DMA memory available
Hi, I am trying to install a broadcom ethernet controller into Dom0 (RHEL 5)...I have compiled the broadcom sources with Xen kernel sources... First, I have used the private pool in kernel memory mode, i.e. the module will try to assemble a physically contiguous of memory using the kernel page allocator. This memory block is then administered by the mpool allocation functions. Note that once a

Use of undeclared identifier 'pvt' in asterisk-12.4.0
I downloaded asterisk-12.4.0 (asterisk-12-current.tar.gz, dated 10-JUL_2014) from http://downloads.asterisk.org/pub/telephony/asterisk/. The packaged configured OK. However, I'm getting a compile error: use of undeclared identifier 'pvt'. I've found similar reports for other versions (asterisk-11 and dongle; macports; a couple others), but nothing for 12.4. Any suggestions to

Histogram Bar Spacing or Border Width
Is there any way to control the spacing between bars in a histogram, or change the border width (I'm assuming the hist() function, though alternatives are welcome)? I'm interested in changing the visual spacing between columns in a plotted histogram. The general effect I'm looking for can be accomplished in barplots using the "width=" parameter, but I have not been able

Then I followed the steps of the "Getting started with Asterisk" and compiled successfully zaptel and libpri (as far as I can see). But when I compile asterisk I get an error. I have attached the

Fw: Plotting in subareas using par(fig=) parameter
Any idea why I can no longer plot two graphs on the same graphics device using the par(fig=) parameter? A simpler par(mfrow=c(1,2)) does work, showing the two plots side-by-side, but I would like the first to be larger. This simple example fails: x<-c(1,1,NA,2,2,NA,3,3) y<-c(2,4,NA,3,5,NA,1,4) par(fig=c(0,2/3,0,1)) plot(x,y) par(fig=c(2/3,1,0,1)) qqnorm(x) When plotted, the last
