Samba as PDC with nested groups
Hello List, I'm evaluating a migration from Windows NT 4.0 to Samba 3.0. Currently its not clear to me whether its possible to do nested groups with samba at all. AFAIK its possible to have Samba resolve nested groups when run as a domain member, but what about a PDC (and a BDC)? So could anybody please clarify this to me? thanks Stefan -- http://www.dreamind.de/ Oroborus and

Expo and Window Snapping
Not sure if this is where bugs should be reported, but here it goes. When Window Snapping is on and Expo mode is launched, dragging windows is jerky near the edges. This is especially noticeable with large windows, such as maximized Windows. There is an Expo option called "Immediate moves" that disables wobbly. If the problem is not easily fixed, perhaps "Immediate moves"

Snapping and constraining?
How would I make a dragable box snap every 100 pixels horizontally and every 25 pixels vertically, and be constrained to a box that is 800 pixels wide by 500 pixels tall? And then how can I retrieve the position of this box when it is released. Thanks Brian _______________________________________________ Rails-spinoffs mailing list

small window manager
What is an alternative X window manager, supported by CentOS, that has very small memory footprint? I want to avoid twm, because it defaults to interactive placement when not giving geometry options. Patch to wobbly snap for outputs
Here's a patch to wobbly.c to handle edge snapping with multiple outputs... Also, I tweaked the window edge snapping to include dock window types, to support the case where dock windows may be on the inner edges of multiple monitors (and thus currently ignored as struts in the output workarea setup). I personally think we should include these "inner" struts when calculating the

Two patches for Snap
Hi, There are a couple of problems with Snapping Windows that I tried to fix: (1) The snap to windows checkbox in ccsm has no effect because Snap treats any window with struts as an edge, and all windows have struts. I think it should be a test for dock windows. (2) Windows don't snap to the left edge because it has been erased. The right edge doesn't seem to get erased because it is

Snap to grid for Draggables
Heya, Following an idea from Saimon (http://dev.rubyonrails.org/ticket/ 2826) and Borlum (http://dev.rubyonrails.org/ticket/2583) and possibly others, script.aculo.us Draggables now sport a new "snap" option that works like this: snap:25 snap to a 25x25 grid (0,0 is at the elements 0,0 coordinate) snap:[10,25] same as above but with different x/y grid size snap:function(x,y) {

Mini-centOS
I am using centOS for my server and centOS is extremely stable. I almost love centOS more than my wife. However, centOS is a bit heavy to run on my notebook (P III 1G, 256MB RAM). I need gnome, firefox, openoffice, realplayer, gaim, acrobat and thunderbird on my notebook, but if I install all of them (plus base-system), my notebook becomes very slow. I wish I could have a lighter version of centOS

How can I check out if centos7-x64 has these missing rpms: No package xfce-utils available. No package NetworkManager-gnome available. No package leafpad available.
