[PATCH] Case insensitive matching for the regex plugin
Hi, I have created an addition to the regex plugin that allows case insensitive matching for title/class/name/role. To enable the case insentive matching, I chose to prepend an 'i' before the tag (ititle=, iclass=, ...). The patch is obviously attached ;-) Are there any objections against putting this code in? persistent window wobble at screen edges
Hi, This is a bug of sorts, relatively minor. When clicking on the title bar of a window and moving the mouse slightly, there will be a wobble that seems to propagate in coordination with window snapping which results in a feedback cycle. I'm sure other people have experienced this. 3 others in the Ubuntu channel last night knew what I was talking about. Is there any way to resolve this? A

Aurorae for Compiz
Hi Compiz Devs, as you might know I started about a year ago to implement a new theme engine for KWin called Aurorae. It is a SVG/Pixmap based engine. The theme format is SVG as soon as the SVG get's resized a pixmap is created and put into KDE's pixmap cache. This makes painting very fast while resizing kind of slow (not an issue with KWin as resizing is already slow ;-)), but at

Using ZFS Case insensitive filesystems with Samba

Need help with auto-titlebar on unmaximized window with Compiz/Ubuntu 11.04/Unity
re, all. Here's a bug filed against Google Chrome for the same problem: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=80856 and here's some forum users complaining about the same problem, and regrettably their solution is to stop using Ubuntu's Unity mode: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1742354. I work for VMware and for our Unity mode (which has the unfortunate name

[PATCH] Screen edge trigger delay
Hi, a popular feature in Beryl currently missing in Compiz was the ability to delay triggering screen edge actions, so that you have to keep your pointer at the screen edge for a while for the action to be triggered to prevent accidential triggering. The attached patch adds that feature. I'd like to hear about questions/suggestions/objections about it. The only slight problem I see with it

Focus Stealing Prevention
Hi, Some very annoying apps(like Smart package management) don't let me in peace. They steal focus every time. In compiz-forums there is a post about it: http://forum.compiz-fusion.org/showthread.php?t=2962 But it didn't solve my problem. Abra?o. Abra sua conta no Yahoo! Gtk-Window-Decorator Problem
Hi, There is a strange bug in gwd. When using compiz, after some time all window decorations become non-responsive. All buttons on the decoration become non-clickable and I can't move any window. Also the decoration color stays in an unfocused state, but I can focus all windows. After that point if i open new windows, they have a decoration bar, but no buttons, icon or title. I've no idea

[PATCH 0/2] Cygwin: allow user and group case-insensitive Unicode strings
Windows usernames are case-insensitive and almost any Unicode character is allowed in a username. The user should be able to login with her username given in any case and not be refused. However, this opens up a security problem in terms of the sshd_config Match rules. The match rules for user and group names have to operate case-insensitive as well, otherwise the user can override her settings

We have an application that was build on a windows platform that expects a case insensitive file system. Is there a way to set one up in CentOS? NTFS should work, I think, but I feel uneasy using that under Linux. Russ
