Another Asterisk Certification
What started out as a good thing for the community has veared it ugly
head and will come back to bite us in the ass. I give my respect to the
two companies that decided to put themselves 'out there' and attempted
to bring 'real world' certifications of knowledge in an area that is
unregulated, open, and currently has no measurement of how much one
person has over another.

Whether need to run CentOS Certification test suite to get the CentOS logo
Howdy,
I have searched related information on the CentOS website, and only get the
answer "Except for CentOS CD/DVD ISOs, you may not use CentOS logos on
merchandise without an individual agreement with the CentOS Project. We need
to approve the use of the logos and will require that you donate a
percentage of your total sales on items using the CentOS logos in this
manner".

FIPS 140-2 certification
Hello everyone!
I work for a company that uses OpenSSH to remotely support systems we've
sold. Since some of our clients are US Dept. of Defense hospitals, our
access to these servers needs to comply with a whole range of
requirements and standards. At this point it's looking like the SSH
daemon needs to be FIPS 140-2 compliant, and the only package that is
certified is F-Secure.

CE certification for Europe
Hello,
I'd like to ask if there are any news about CE certification of the E1
boards. I know that the T1 boards are FCC certified but I'd also like to
know what is the status for CE certification.
Thanks for any input,
Vlasis Hatzistavrou.

[Asterisk-Dev] RE: [Asterisk-biz] Asterisktraining andcertification :: AstriconTraining
Here here, a bit of documentation online would cut down considerably the
traffic on this list asking how to questions.
Cmon sokal, put the questions and training material online.

If I want to use MySQL instead of sqlite3 when creating a Rails
application, apart from creating the application with the -d mysql and
configuring the config/database.yml file is there anything else I did
to do/download?
Thanks

Asterisk Certification
I just have to make my view known about this.
1) I agree that one is needed but!
2) I feel that there should be a way to get a self study course which will lead to a way to take a test for the Certification.
3) Cost and who set this up is really something that I think should be done first from digium and not out side sources.
4) Which Linux Distro will this be based on is important to make this

CentOS 7.x Russian certification
Dear all,
does anyone have any idea where to get a list of all CentOS 7.x versions
that are certified to be used within Russia.
My guess is that organizations, such as FSTEK, TR-CU declares those
versions/distributions of CentOS that are certified to be used with
commercial projects in Russia.
Anyone with some information on this, plase advice, I would be very
grateful.
Regards,
Gorazd

Does the firewall attends to the security certification at

OT: UK PPP certification -- what is it?
A client asked me to come with a system that will pass certification with
PPP in the UK.
Google is not being helpful :(
It has something to do with recording calls in case the PPP requests a
copy. Supposedly their rules were relaxed on August 1st if that helps.
Any clues (links?) will be appreciated.
