Win2k client is recognising the domain but is unable to logon . It
asks for the usrname/passwd , which usrname/passwd am i supposed to
give here . As shown in the smb.conf file below, admin user is set to
'student ' , but it does not accept this username , says ' unknown

WARRNING REGARDING Support from 2n.cz !!!!
Just a warring for everybody regarding this company.
I emailed 2n.cz to buy 2 gateways to integrate 3g network and GSM with my
asterisk box. They emailed me back to contact the local dealer for them. So
I did and I bought the 3G analog gateway (bought from the local dealer) and
BLUEVoice gateway(I bought it from a dealer in Serbia when I was there for a
meeting) too. Having problems setting them

Samba domain join issues
Hi All,
I am having an issue with Samba joining an active directory domain.
When I run 'net ads join -S mydomaincontrollerFQDN -U adminuser command I
get this error:
Failed to join domain: failed to lookup DC info for domain 'MYDOMAIN.COM'
over rpc: Logon failure
The credentials we entered are for sure correct but if we see our domain

Instead of getting something to cut&paste, you would be much more

[LLVMdev] creating and inserting a function with variable arguments
I have tried it, but I always end up with some kind of error. Can you
explain how can I get a function type for function which returns void
(nothing) and it's arguments are (int, int, int, void *, void *, ...) ??
Thanks in advance.

Digium stopped TDM400P production: alternatives??
Hi,
Digium stopped to produce TDM400P and the new TDM410 is too new to find
it in our shops. The only alternative available is a "fully-compatible"
Openvox product...but is it really "fully-compatible"? Any experience
about Openvox products (card and zaptel versions, etc...)?
Thank you!
Giorgio.

What if there is no interactive "session" running? I will be running my scripts automatically from crontab in Linux.

Again, the answer is "interactivity does not matter".

I was talking about the session that is created for the duration of the
BATCH run, not some other session that may be running in another
process. Sorry for the

return value of {....}
Hello Akshay,
R is quite inspired by LISP, where this is a common thing. It is not in fact that {...} returned something, rather any expression evalulates to some value, and for a compound statement that is the last evaluated expression.
{...} might be seen as similar to LISPs (begin ...).
Now this is a very different thing compared to {...} in something like C, even if it looks or behaves

return value of {....}
Dear Valentin,
But why should {....} "return" a value? It could just as well evaluate all the expressions and store the resulting objects in whatever environment the interpreter chooses, and then it would be left to the user to manipulate any object he chooses. Don't you think returning the last, or any value, is redundant? We are living in the 21st century

something weird has happened....!!!!!!!!!!
dear Members,
Today something weird has happened on my R console. I have attached two screenshots of the same vector in my R console but they differ.
Also one of my function returns negative values, even after double checking the code, which should return only positive values..
Whats wrong..? Reinstall R?
Thanks for help....

on lexical scoping....
No, there are lots of situations where that doesn't make sense. You
don't want to have to define local copies of the functions from every
package you use, for example.
I think the takeaway is to learn how R scoping works, and keep things
simple. That's one reason I tend to avoid "tidyverse" packages. There
are a lot of really good ideas in those packages, but

lexical scoping for scripts......
What do _you_ mean when you use the term "interactive"? Because R distinguishes between executing code in a function and executing code from the global environment, but it does not care whether a person is doing the typing or not.
I get the feeling that you think of your R code in terms of "scripts" when you should be thinking of your code in terms of functions. What
