I need some suggestions, I want to limit the up and down bandwidth of PPPoE users that are terminated on a Linux router (kernel 2.6). What are my options, can I apply tbf qdisc on a ppp interface? If I send some data over a TCP socket, I''d like to know for sure if the data reached its recipient.
