Fw: Re:simple(?!?) source routing
Hi, Thanks for the reply. Thats where the problem starts. If I set ppp0 as the default gw the internet doesnt work anymore. This is how im doing it... route del default route add default gw 217.32.81.74 dev ppp0 if I put it back to ppp1... route del default route add default gw 217.32.68.73 dev ppp1 It works fine again. Whats up with that? Cheers, Chris ----- Original Message

Shorewall 4.4.6 and Multiple ISP with 2 routed subnets
Hello, I have 2 ISP uplinks (zones: inet1 and inet2), each with a fixed IP on the outside and a routed subnet (/25 and /26) on the inside. So, behind the firewall i have 2 networksegments (lan1 and lan2) with public IP-addresses. The segments are completely isolated from eachother: hosts in zone "lan1" connect only to "inet1" and hosts in zone "lan2" only connect

Definitive way to aggregate bandwidth using multiple links
I always used multiple links from different ISPs and in my oppinion the best way to really aggregate bandwidth is using some kind of proxy which the client connects to and distribute multiple connections to the links. Years ago, a friend of mine wrote Netsplitter: http://www.hostname.org/netsplitter/ but it''s outdated, abandoned (last version from 2002). And it was mainly written for

single static ip address
Hi Tinc group, I have recently got an adsl connection at home, which only provides a single static ip address. I want to set up a tinc vpn from home to my workplace. I am trying to decide what hardware I need to do the above. At the moment, I am aware that I could use an Alcatel Speedtouch USB modem directly connected to a Linux vpn box at my home. Over-quota bounces seeming to lack sender
We're seeing an issue with 1.2.12 where over-quota rejection messages are appearing in the logs with <> as the sender. The sender of the original message sees the appropriate sender (postmaster@) on the rejection, but as the message makes its way through the postfix/amavis chain, I can see that the sender address is missing. tcptrack
Does anybody have a working version of tcptrack running on Centos 6 x64? The rpmforge rpm installs and runs on the -t eth# command, but if you add a port to it, it bombs with a pcap compile error. It runs fine for me on Centos 5 x64, but seems to have what looks like an old bug reintroduced in 6. -- John Hinton 877-777-1407 ext 502 http://www.ew3d.com Comprehensive Online Solutions

Registration failed problems/Polycom 500/maybe nat problem?
I have sent a Polycom IP500 phone to an overseas remote user who has a Speedtouch adsl modem/router. The phone is connected to the 4 port router which performs NAT for the network. The phone rboots, find the server, downloads it's config and tried to register. Then it immediately becomes UNREACHABLE. How to escape characters in Dialplan
Hello, I'm using Asterisk 1.6.2.0 and I like to use escape characters with SendText, because I can just delete the message from my phone (Thomson Speedtouch ST2030) display by sending a return-char (\n). But \n is not escaped: I tried already: exten => 222, n, SendText(\n) exten => 222, n, SendText("\n") exten => 222, n, SendText('\n') exten => 222, n,
