can I use tos and fwmark at the same time?
Hello lartc maintainers and users! I have a router with two NICs. One NIC is connected to the Internet and the other to my internal LAN. I made a script for priorizing interactive traffic. The script matches TOS Minimize-Delay for priorizing interactive trafic, and fwmark for metropolitan packets. I have two root classes (simulating two circuits) : 1:1 for internet and 1:3 for metropolitan.

Slow large pings
Hello lartc, Testing some rules I found out that any rules are slowing down large pings! For example: tc qdisc add dev eth0 root handle 1: htb tc class add dev eth0 parent 1: classid 1:1 htb rate 100Mbit prio 1 ceil 100Mbit tc class add dev eth0 parent 1:1 classid 1:2 htb rate 100Mbit prio 2 ceil 100Mbit tc filter add dev eth0 parent 1:0 prio 5 u32 \ match ip src 10.10.10.1 \ match ip

Hello all, I am trying to make a filter into my QoS rules and I founded that when I try to use filters u32 and with fwmark they do not work together. This is the filter I use, just and example, for u32: $TC filter add dev $DL parent 1:0 protocol ip prio 1 u32 match ip sport 22 0xffff flowid 1:10 This is working fine. Now if I try to mark a package that I want it to go to the same

For the rest , I must limit the user to 64Kbits Now , how can I limit the high speed connections ? I must create a rule and take in account both fwmark and IP ? To be more specific , I want

Help with traffic control (HTB ESFQ RED)
Hello, there''s a problem I''ve had for several months now, and I''ve never been able to find an answer to it. I''ll try to explain as quick as possible: I have a server that controlls my home network, it provides internet to them also (NAT) and I would like to provide QoS by shaping traffic. 2.6.14 - HTB/SFQ QoS broken?

I have a client with about 16 GXP-2000. They complain that the audio quality is terrible after 2 or 3 simultaneous conversations. They are behind DSL 1.5Mbps down and 256Kbps up. Because they are using G711.u codec, I know they upstream bandwidth is the limiting factor and they most likely won't be able to have more than 3 simultaneous conversations, and if they're surfing the
