[RFC PATCH] drm/nouveau/fb/ram/gk104: move assignment out of condition
"hiding" unconditional assignments in the if() parentesis makes for
hard to read code and has no advantage over placing these assignments
in proper formated lines before the if() statement. Simply move those
lines out.
Before sending out roughly 20 patches to fix the roughly 50 cases - all
in the nouveau driver. I would like to know if this will be accepted at
all.

Fwd: AQuA Meter – waveform analysis to get continous MOS scores for your network
Hi,
Although this is a repost from Asterisk biz, we would like to ask if
somebody may help us to develop a native Asterisk module using AQuA
technology for voice quality monitoring using the same web service AQuA
Meter is using.
Thanks,

Progress meter
There appears to be 2 different styles of progress meter. One style
shows stars with total size transfered and time remaining. The second
doesn't display the stars, but does provide a percent complete and
transfer rate. How can one force a particular style of progress
meter? I personally prefer the one which displays the rate of
transfer, but I don't know how to get that to display on all

AUdio Meter Application results in Access Violation
I'm trying to run AudioMeter.exe, available for download at http://www.mydarc.de/dg8saq/AudioMeter/index.shtml
It is a single executable which measures the sound card input as RMS values and displays them.
When I try and run it under Wine, the program's main window (title bar and frame only) and its debug window (title bar and fame only) show up on the screen and I get a message box that

"doveadm sync/backup" should show some kind of progress meter
Using "-v" with those commands doesn't nothing, aparently.
Using "-D" shows complex debug info only useful for debugging.
But this comands take a lot of time and should show some kind of
progress meter/feedback like network speed, percent, ETA, etc.

Progress meter for ssh-keygen
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Attached is a patch to add a progress meter for ssh-keygen similar
to the one in the commercial ssh1.
Was this left out of the OpenBSD version because of security
concerns?

NUT 'upsstats' Battery Meter Question
Hello,
I am using Nut 2.8.0 (2.8.0-7 packages) Debian 'Bookworm' in it's Devuan form 'Daedalus'.
When I look at my Eaton (ex-MGE Powerware) E5115 UPS boxes in NUT 'upsstats" I am confused by the battery readings.
Under the 'System' column I can click on the link and obtain a GUI with a few meters.
The NUT 'upsstats' battery voltage meter for these

NUT 'upsstats' Battery Meter Question
Hello Jeff,
`upsstats` by itself only relays and renders the information provided by
a NUT data server (upsd) and the NUT driver for the device. So you can
revise the specific reported values with e.g. `upsc` command-line client to
be sure.
What I think happens here is that the driver uses a
`battery.voltage.low/nominal/high` group of readings which does not match
the hardware circumstances
