Return to sender
Hi everyone!
I need to create a rule that return back the packages sender.
For example, if the IP 200.xxx.xxx.xxx tries to connect to my firewall
in one specific port, the rules turns back the connection to
200.xxx.xxx.xxx.
With this rule the Engineers Department will test some equipments with
GSM chips.
One point to observe is that we don''t know witch IP will connect to
this rules.

I will continue to be active on the development list and will continue to
develop Shorewall if at all possible.
I will also continue to read the user''s list and will help

ISPCON Mini-emergency: ATA186 Power Cube OK on SPA841?
Guess who's here to do an Asterisk demo this week without the power
supply for his SPA-841.
I have an ATA186 with me. Both phones use a 5v supply. Does anyone
know whether the supplies are interchangeable?
Thanks in advance; sorry for the noise.

I''m not sure if this has been asked before but I would like to
ask assistance for this problem I have.
I installed gentoo for my firewall/gateway and installed dhcp and shorewall.
Currently, I can ssh, ftp, remote desktop connect, ping, etc (anything
I can think of) from an internal computer inside my network to an
external IP, except I cannot surf the net. I can ssh/ftp to

Linux Firewall Question
Hi,
I am running Asterisks on Public IP with Fedora Core 3.
What is the recommendation for making Linux secure on the Public IP since I am new to Linux. Which Firewall should I use? I am not intending to use Linux as router.
Can any one provide some configuration documentation.

Dial out from a sip phone is also not an issue, all calls connect and

If I call the Asterisk PBX say from PSTN in Zap1-1 and out through
ZAP2-2 back to the PSTN (after entering the correct pin off course) the

UPS rating for SOHO asterisk box
Slightly OT, but I think this is of possible interest to many of you,
I need to get a UPS for my asterisk box. They are rated in VA but I
can't quite figure out how that converts to real life.
I have a PIII-800 box with two X100P and one TDM400P plus graphics
adapter, an IDE hard drive etc. Will a small 400VA box be enough for
this?
