Hi list, I downloaded and tried to install Mongrel (latest stable version) from the -win32 gem. Platform is Win2K. It said it needed daemons so got and installed that. Then it said it needed cgi_multipart_eol_fix (I think that was the name, not at my machine now, can confirm later and repost if needed). Googled for that but couldn''t find it. Printing problem with Samba, XP, and Xerox Printer
Hello everyone, I am having a problem getting Windows XP clients to print to a Xerox DataCenter 440 using Samba as the print server running on Red Hat Linux 7.2. I have installed the driver once and it worked fine. I then tried to add a second XP client, and while it appears to install and work, nothing comes out of the printer. It even seems to disappear at the print server. Any ideas how I

Major Printing Failure Problem
Hi everyone, I am using Samba 2.2.3a on a Redhat Linux 7.2 Intel server as a printserver on a W2K PDC network. I have a Xerox 440 printer, an HP 4500 PS and an HP 4550 PS printer using my Samba printserver. I am often receiving the following error message: ERROR: syntaxerror OFFENDING COMMAND: STACK: at which point printing stops and the printers start saying TIMEOUT. Sometimes I can reprint

How to join join Ubuntu desktop to AD
Just to confirm that it can be done, I followed the wiki and joined my Ubuntu 16.04 desktop to a Samba AD using the Ubuntu distro provided packages. I'm not sure if it's relevant, but the Samba AD DCs are also running Ubuntu 16.04 with the distro provided packages. Mike E. SWAT issue
I have had a RH5.2 server running Samba up for a long time. I upgraded to Mandrake 6.0. It broke Samba, so I reinstalled using the RPM on the CD. Samba works just fine, but SWAT will not! If I try to start it manually (/usr/sbin/swat) it just hangs. In /etc/services I have a line like this: swat 901/tcp In /etc/inetd.conf I have: swat stream tcp nowait.400 root

I am a newbie and I would like some help deciding what operating system
I would like first to introduce my self to the community. I am Steve Beyer and I am interested in learning Ruby, ROR, and how to set up a production server. I am going to use OSX for my client/developement system but I would like to get some advice on what operating system you would recommend for a production server. I want to use Mongrel to start and then move up the ladder as my

Yes, I followed the guide. The same error showed up: >clang++ axpy.cu -o axpy --cuda-gpu-arch=sm_35 -L/usr/local/cuda/lib64 -I/usr/local/cuda/include -lcudart_static -ldl -lrt -pthread error: unable to create target: 'No available targets are compatible with this triple.' ________________________________ From: Kevin Choi <code.kchoi at gmail.com> Sent: Wednesday, August 2,

using MongrelDbg
I coded up a handler, using the MongrelDbg module to help me debug. I deployed my code and found it royally broken in production because it couldn''t include that module. What''s the best practice for having MongrelDbg in code and not breaking in different environments? Is this just a bug? I commented out all my MongrelDbg usage and redeployed, and it works now. -- Cheers,

Any luck with Quickbooks?
Hi, Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with Quick Books. I attempted to get the premier version installed today. With the help of winetricks, I got all the prerequisites installed. The installation looks like everything is running fine. However, when it gets through all the questions, and starts actually installing, it dies on file copying. I tried installing from the CD. I'm
