Seems like using a full-blown RAID controller and exporting each individual drive back to ZFS as a single LUN is a waste of power and $$$. Looking for any thoughts or ideas. I got some drives to work by jumpering them down to sata1, but other drives I can''t jumper without opening the case and voiding the drive warranty.
