Star Wars Echo Sound
We have a location that is having a really odd issue. We have a sangoma POTs card. We are running software echo cancellation with the card (through asterisk) to try to eliminate some major echoing problems. I've turned on both EC and echotrain, which seemed to have gotten rid of the echo for the most part. However, we are now running into an issue where the outside caller hears a star wars

"No space left on device" at 69%
Hi, there''s no information about reporting bugs in the btrfs wiki, so I try it here. For testing purposes, I have put all my Gentoo portage (build, distfiles, etc.) related LVs into one 10G btrfs with 4 subvolumes. While building OpenOffice yesterday, it failed with a "No space left on device" error, although the LV was only 69% full in total. Details (Builds of Gentoo

Bash-Completion for samba-tool
Hey list, arriving home from SambaXP, it was really nice. That darth vader cake was super sweet :-) Hearing some people talking about how much they'd like bash completion for `samba-tool`, I've put together an ugly script that does that. It's a very dumb script (I'm boldly calling it script), but it might make someones day a little bit easier.

Music On Hold distorted
I have searching the forums here on how to get Music On Hold working and I have been able to get * to accept a command for MusicOnHold and for Meetme after loading the ztdummy module. I used the default config for /etc/zaptel.conf since I saw no guidance on this. My problem now is that when I activate MusicOnHold, the sample music file sounds very slow and distorted. My best guess is that it is

puppet cert first run doesn't encrypt ca private key but puppet ca does?
Can anyone validate this? I am attempting to run the puppet cert/ca standlone commands. I am running form an unchanged master branch and if I run (simplified for the example): puppet cert generate host the resulting ca_key.pem is not encrypted. If I run : puppet ca generate host the resulting ca_key.pem is encrypted. In both cases the ca.pass file is created but the code path through cert does

Why is localhost self-signed cert a CA cert?
I am building a mail server on Centos 6.3 and working with OpenSSL to create a self-signed certificate for mail use. Along the line of learning the 'best' options to use for OpenSSL and dealing with the default SSL virtual host for Apache, I discovered that the localhost cert created (I believe) during firstboot has the X509v3 extensions set as a CA cert (eg basicConstraint CA:TRUE).

PATCH: XMMS year bug
Hi, this is a patch to fix a bug in the XMMS plugin. The problem is that with the current version (1.1.0) it is impossible to get the year field to show up in the playlist, even if it's properly set in the file. The diff below fixes the problem. Tyler Eaves bash-2.05b$ diff -C 1 wrap_id3.c /usr/portage/distfiles/flac-1.1.0/src/plugin_xmms/wrap_id3.c *** wrap_id3.c Fri Jul 16 18:28:35 2004

Is qpopper vulnerable?? Re: CERT Advisory CA-97.09 - Vulnerability in IMAP and POP
I''ve got qualcomm''s qpopper2.2, and am not sure if its vulnerable. The advisory mentions pop and imap servers, but only says: version of IMAP (Section B). If your POP server is based on the University of Washington IMAP server code, you should also upgrade to the latest version of IMAP. Until you can take one of these actions, I installed the new imapd about 3

How to update CA cert?
What happens if the generated CA cert expires? Does puppet detect that in time and generates and distributes a new CA cert? Or do I have to generate and distribute one myself?
