[Bridge] Ubuntu: network bridging between wireless and wired connection fails
Hi everybody,
First of all, let me say that I searched a lot on the internet. I
spent several hours sitting after my notebook, but I can't configure
my network bridge in Ubuntu. I'm really desperate, so I hope somebody
can point me out what I'm doing

Xen 3.0 Xend loses network - eth0 -> veth0?
Hi list.
I started with Xen yesterday, but I am facing a bit of a problem.
My system had always configure eth0 with 10.0.0.4/8
I am using Xen unstable source (on Debian sid)
Now I installed Xen, rebooted the machine, and first the usual network is
coming up and then the xend will be started.
I''ll end up with this, but I am wondering if this should be the way of
things to be

NIC bonding - missing eth0?
I have nic bonding (mode=802.3ad) setup on 2 servers, both running Centos 5.5
In the "Active Aggregator Info", on one reports 4 ports - which is correct - but the other only reports 3 ports.
It''s always eth0 that shows a different aggregator ID. Changing the cables around so it hits a different port on the switch makes no difference. The switch is correctly configured for the

No eth0 device found in domU
Hi,
I tried already a long time to enable network in my domU but I always
fail with:
# ifconfig eth0 192.168.0.1 up
SIOCSIFADDR: No such device
SIOCGIFFLAGS: No such device
Do I need to load a kernel module?
I use OpenSuse 10.2 with kernel 2.6.18.8-0.5-xen (for both domU and dom0).
My config:
kernel = "/boot/vmlinuz-xen"
ramdisk = "/home/jens/initrd.gz"

sunspot data in R 2.0.0
I noticed this in the NEWS:
o Datasets 'sunspot.month' and 'sunspot.year' are available
separately but not via data(sunspot) (which is used by package
lattice to retrieve a dataset 'sunspot').
Now, the 'sunspot' dataset included in lattice was actually a mistake, I
realized later that I instead wanted the 'sunspots' data from

My question is - Is there a way in Xen, through which I can communicate
a value from outside to a Guest OS (linux,

Questions for package ts prediction
Dear helpers,
I am trying to write a function to return prediction values using
package ts. I have written three different versions since I am not sure
what's wrong with my func2. func and func1 return the same results. But
func1 and func2 don't. In particular, the only difference between
"func1" and "func2" is the function variable name being y and data,
respectively.

I''ve set up identical (what I think) machines using SLES 10 x86_64, but a new one

SSH ping etc not working between dom0 and domU''s
Hi!
I have a problem with my new Xen setup. I have installed Debian etch
with netinstall and I''m using 2.6.18-6-xen-amd64 kernel in my dom0 and
3.0.3-0-4 version xen hypervisor. I''m using four network cards on my
system and using three of them as xen bridges and dom0 is using the
fourth one only for it''s own. So basicly both of my virtual servers use
a network card

Gutsy Xen 3.1 2.6.22-9-xen network-bridge problem
Hi,
I have a strange problem with my networking setup. I read all forums around
the world where people had similar problems, but couldn''t find a solution.
I have an Attansic L1 gigeth chip on my mainboard. This chip works OK in
stock Ubuntu Gutsy (development) 2.6.22-9-generic kernel.
When I boot into Xen, and after the bridge is created, the network stops
working. Some info:
