Dovecot as a POP3-/POP3SSL-proxy in front of exchange 2003
Dear all,
im looking for a solution to protect an Exchange 2003 email server from direct "pop3-internet-connects".
Is it possible that Dovecot act as a POP3-/POP3SSL-Proxy, "LDAP-authenticate" all user logins to a Windows 2003 domain controller and forward then all POP3-connects to a single Exchange 2003 server?
Could someone give me some advices or a link for howtos for

CRM integration (was RE: CallerID)
Hello,
We use astGUIclient, it does have server side apps that have to be installed
on your Asterisk server, but it does have callerID popups that allow you to
search a customizable web page when a call comes in. We are also releasing a
new version of the astGUIclient app next week that is entirely web-based and
easier to configure the client side.

CRM integration (was RE: CallerID)
I am also very interested in CRM integration. Anything I can do to help?
One thing I don't understand is how is the browser being launched on the
person's PC. Or is it not launched automatically?
Anyone know of a simple app running on the desktop to do this? I looked
into IPSwithcBoard and it appears like it should be able to do the job,
but:
a) It is pretty heavy - it does a lot of

Hi there,
I'm currently experiencing a minor problem using the bridge module under

Non-native codecs - MELPe?
Has anyone needed a coded that Asterisk does not natively support, such
as MELPe or CVSD? If so, did you find a pure software solution and
provided that as an addition to Asterisk? Was that solution successful?
Has using an I/F card with a DSP proved to be the better solutions? We
are beginners with Asterisk so any help/advice on how to best implement
non-native Codecs into Asterisk will be

CRM integration (was RE: CallerID)
The method we use for web popups on incoming calls in the astGUIclient
client app that we are working on for release next week is to use
AJAX(Javascript + XMLHTTPRequest) It works in Firefox and IE5+ and doesn't
require any META refreshes. We've been using this internally for the last
month and it works great.

Driver for Realtek RTL8151GH-CG
Does anybody know if NIC Realtek RTL8151GH-CG is supported on FreeBSD
9.2 or 10.0?
It is included in HP ProDesk 490 MT which I may buy, but I cannot find
what hardware parts are supported by FreeBSD and what not.
I am running FreeBSD for about 13 years on servers.
I didn't run it on desktop grade HW for more than 8 years. So any tips
for some solid home PC with i7-4770 (or i7-3770?) is

App Question.
Hi list!!
Got a question, and I can't find a good answer for, so I figured i'd post
here. I'm working on a project that involves a number of smaller apps to be
developed, and run. In order to build this overall application, I'm trying
to find a web based app that I can use to manage the entire process.
I need to be able to create the basic app, and then to test the app, and

samba and/or DAV
while looking for a solution for webbased access to our samba-servers
I found a recommendation towards using DAV instead.
I just took a first glance at DAV (www.webdav.org) and find it very
interesting.
Are there any documentes comparing these two strategies in intranet
and internet (speed, reliability ...)
I would also be greatly interested if anyone here uses DAV to allow
roaming users to
