wxComboBox and wxTE_PROCESS_ENTER
Hi all, i am trying to use wxComboBox (instead of wxChoice) to capture wxTE_PROCESS_ENTER event. If i enable TE_PROCESS_ENTER flag on the resulting xrc file, i get an ''Unknown style flag wxTE_PROCESS_ENTER'' on app loading. Probably wxComboBox doesn''t reconize this kind of event. How do i catch this event for the wxComboBox widget? Thank you all. bio.

Choice append
Ciao Alex, Is it possible to enable the overloaded method ''ControlWithItems#append'' to be able to provide user data? to do this: ch = Wx::Choice.new() ch.append("pluto", 10) ch.append("pippo", 20) ch.append("paperino", 30) instead of this (the way i''ve found to get the same result): ch = Wx::Choice.new() id =

Filling Wx::ListCtrl with contents
Hi all, I''ve got a question concerning ListCtrl_virtual of wxRuby since I see no way filling the list with dynamic contents. I''m new to Ruby so I maybe have to apologise for my request. The problem is, that I have to define the on_get_item_text(item, col) function. There I would like to use the item and col variables to read data from a two-dimensional array. My very problem

Wx::HtmlWindow.on_link_clicked
Hello, wxruby-users. This is an addition which implement wrapper for overloading wxHtmlWindow::OnLinkClicked method. Unfortunately, it was impossible to make it correctly without ugly hack to wxpp.rb, but i`m hope it does not broke it. Please look at attachment for a patch for htmlwindow.t and wxpp.rb and additional file htmllinkinfo.t (need to be added to $objs array in extconf.rb). Sample

Wx::Window#get_text_extent patch
Here''s a patch to fix Wx::Window#get_text_extent - it requires that the patches from teh last message are applied, to enable *INPUT etc typemaps. Roy - though the function works correctly when called from Ruby, it still causes a crash when called internally when clicking on a Wx::Grid cell. Saw your message on SWIG mailing list, hopefully someone there can help out. alex

Hi -- I am trying to get ruby 1.9 to run on my Windows Vista Ultimate computer with and Intel 32 bit processor and all OS updates applied. I installed ruby 1.9 on October 23, 2009 using the zip file (ruby-1.9.1-p129-i386-mswin32.zip) and the instructions located at: http://blog.orangecabin.com/2009/05/install-ruby-1-9-on-windows-using-zip-binary/.
