PRI Problem
I am having a problem with a new PRI turn-up on dahdi 2.5.0 and
asterisk 1.8.5 that I have not seen before. The PRI is setup as B8ZS,
ESF and the span shows up and ok. This PRI is merely a crossover T1
going into an old DC0 class 5 switch.
I am getting the following errors over and over again

Hi Guys
I have a 4 port PRI card that I need to setup each port in their own
group.
In chan_dahdi.conf I have the following which works for one port
How do I add the rest of the ports in their own groups so that I can have
different signaling on each?

DAHDI fax detection
Asterisk 16 latest
DAHDI 3.0.0 latest
Excerpt from chan_dahdi.conf is shown below. I'm trying to enable fax
detection on inbound calls so that I can take appropriate action in the
dial plan. "dahdi show channel 1" shows "Fax Handled: no". Does that
mean that I don't have it configured correctly?

I am trying to setup Asterisk to act like a PBX connected via a PRI gateway
to a voice netowrk where Asterisk is doing outbound
overlap dialing for calls that terminate via that PRI. AFter researching

Setting two E1 cards
Dear, I always had one E1 card with one span, so I've never had any
problem in set it up through /etc/dahdi/sustem.conf and
/etc/asterisk/chan_dahdi.conf because I put span=1.
But now I have a PBX with two E1 cards with 4 span (8 span in total).
How do I have to define both card in system.conf and chan_dahdi.conf,
and how do I have to refer each span to the corresponding card ???

Sending calls to a particular T1 port.
We have two Asterisk servers. One is a live server supporting our
customers, and the other is a backup server that's being upgraded and
pressed into service. Both servers have a Digium TE405P T1 card in them,
and in order to test the T1 service on the backup server, I've created a
T1 crossover cable (as per

Silly (??) question about chan_dahdi
Hi,
these are my first steps with DAHDI and I finally managed to get
asterisk to load chan_dahdi (after I found out, that I need libpri).
But how do I tell chan_dahdi on which isdn numbers it should react? I
haven't found a parameter like "incomingmsn" for chan_capi in the
documentation.
Thanks for your help,
Stefan

Fax and dial-up connection issues
I have a pretty large setup on one of my customers. Digium TE420B (with echo cancelling module), 3 Xorcom Astribanks with 32 FXS each and 1 Xorcom Astribank with 16 FXO. These FXO ports are NOT used for fax/data transmission, as they are connected to cell phones. Not really related to the issue, but there are also 250 SIP phones.
The problem is that fax and dial-up connections are really
