qt3.3 is default in environment, I want it to be qt4
At the current time, the environment is using qt3 values, as in $ env | grep QT QTDIR=/usr/lib/qt-3.3 QTINC=/usr/lib/qt-3.3/include QTLIB=/usr/lib/qt-3.3/lib $ env | grep PATH PATH=/usr/lib/qt-3.3/bin:/usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/lib/ccache:/usr/local/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:/home/pauljohn/bin I also have QT4 installed, and I want programs to find those libraries and include files instead of these ones.

Installing skype in CentOS 5
Having just upgraded my system from CentOS 4.4 to 5.0, I'm a bit disappointed that I still can't install skype from the skype repo using yum - when I try yum install skype, I end up with: libsigc++20-2.0.17-1.el5. 100% |=========================| 217 kB 00:13 ---> Package libsigc++20.i386 0:2.0.17-1.el5.rf set to be updated --> Running transaction check --> Processing

[LLVMdev] Patch to make gccld link native .so's, -rpath, -soname, and various assorted fixes
Hello, I have a patch that: 1. Allows gccld to link shared libraries natively.. 2. Passes along -rpath and -soname to the native linker... 3. Fixes a bug where the bytecode files were kept around after native linking... 4. Removes a now unnecessary warning for native linking... The result is that we are >' '< close to having Qt4 both compile *and* link with the LLVM toolchain.

Mounting a previously Windows (ntfs) file system
Hello, I'm planning a conversion of a Windows server (SBS2011) to Samba. All the user data files are already on a separate disc in the Windows server and my idea is to unplug the Windows boot drive and plug in a FreeBSD installation with Samba 3.6.25 running and tested on another machine. Fortunately it's a small installation and everybody is using the same share on the Windows

Maintainer for Krita on CentOS
The Krita [1] mailing list is now discussing making a standalone .tgz package of the latest Krita for CentOS 5.x. After this tarball is created is there anyone interested in making and maintaining a CentOS 5.x RPM package from it? building NUT on Mac OS X Yosemite

Starting from https://github.com/networkupstools/nut-website/issues/7 <https://github.com/networkupstools/nut-website/issues/7> @JeanPerriault I've found msort on macports (https://trac.macports.org/browser/trunk/dports/textproc/msort/Portfile, http://billposer.org/Software/Downloads/ msort.pdf), but I'm

GlusterFS on a FreeBSD-Server
Hello I want to use GlusterFS as a nfs substitute for a FreeBSD Server and Linux clients. The FreeBSD-server should export several directories. One of these directories contains the home-directory for the client-mashines. The problem is that my GlusterFS setup isn't very stable and crashes quite often. It is less stable, when more than one volume is mounted, but even when only one volume is

[LLVMdev] Release: Two Weeks 'Til 3.0 Branch
As of today, there are two weeks left until we branch for the 3.0 release. Please get your changes in as soon as possible so that they are well-tested before the branch. And please keep on top of any failures you see. Now would be a good time to look through the bugzilla database to see if there are any issues you can address. :-) -bw

Documentation people needed. FreeBSD/Security clue beneficial.
Hi All, Ok after watching all the discussion about some security documentation and teams I have come up with a few ideas that might help out some. I'm willing to program an interface at the extremefreebsd.org site (yes I know it's still new and under some work) that will allow the following: 1. A dedicated page for security related posts (articles, docs, advisories, etc) at

rspec hangs when used with QtRuby
Hello to everyone I''m having trouble using RSpec to test code which uses QtRuby (both version 3 and 4). I noticed that, after upgrading from RSpec 1.0.5 to RSpec 1.0.8, some of my specs which used QtRuby caused spec (or rake, when used from a Rakefile) to hang indefinitly. After a bit of investigation, I found that the problem arose in the following situation: * requiring Qt4 / Qt3

The menu bug...again.
Seems this nasty bug is not solved yet. This time it always pops up using qt4 apps. Try qtconfig or qtdesigner. Giovanni Masucci
