setting font in plots
Dear Reader I am trying to change the font in a plot and after several trials finally came up with the following code. plot(var_a, var_b, pch = 16, font.lab = 10, font = 10) points(var_a, var_c, pch = 3, font = 10) legend(0.1, 0.8, legend = c(?var_b?, ?var_c?), pch = c(16,3)) It does change the font in the plot (Courier), but not in the legend that does not accept the "font = ..."

descriptive statistics
Hi. In a data set I have a variable that takes values from 1 to 14. For each subgroup of values of this variable, I would like to obtain some descriptive statistics of other variables present in the data set. I've been trying with a "for" loop but I couldn't get nothing. Could you please suggest me some lines? -- View this message in context:

Assigning constant value without alloca/load/store
Hello, I am currently trying to translate some custom IR to LLVM-IR and came across and issue. The custom IR has several registers and I am basically try to SSAfy it so it can be easily translated/converted to LLVM-IR. The problem: Since in my custom IR I can reassign every register I have to reassign every new expression with a new llvm Value. But my IR has something like this: REG A = VAR C

Assigning constant value without alloca/load/store
I want to keep the translation short and simple (My IR doesn't have control flow so it's basically on basic block) that's why I don't want to rely on alloca/load/store. 2016-02-08 6:08 GMT+01:00 George Burgess IV <george.burgess.iv at gmail.com>: > Hi! > > I don't know what "the right way" to do this is, but is there any reason > you're against

Color of the plot which correspond to the group of the observations
Dear All, ? Let: dp: depth of the river tp: temperature with respect to depth These pair of observations are in 3 different groups i.e: Obs. 1,3,5,7?from the first group Obs. 2,4 and?10?from second group Obs 6,8 and 9?from third group. We can have a simple scatter plot, between depth as y-axis and temperature as x-axis, with each pairs are denoted by a red dot, by using a plot function shown

Hi Are you using the latest git version ? WHich part exactly of your logs relates to "virtual folders do not work" ? On 2019-06-05 13:08, Daniel Miller via dovecot wrote: > Logs: > > Jun 5 06:02:25 bubba dovecot: imap(dmiller at amfes.com)<25877><IjkkJZOKPvKsOk9d>: Opening DB (RO)

Yes, latest git version. The logs show (as I read them) returned results - yet nothing shows in the client. The logs look the same (with different numbers) when querying "regular" folders - but results are shown in clients. -- Daniel On June 6, 2019 12:16:08 AM Joan Moreau <jom at grosjo.net> wrote: > Hi > Are you using the latest git version ? > WHich part exactly

R CMD check: checking for undocumented objects ... WARNING
Dear List, I have a problem building an R package using R 1.7.1 that I cannot resolve myself. R CMD check tells me that functions I documented properly in Rd-files are not documented and gives a TeX error at the end, altough the Rd files check is OK. I have three fucntions, one gets through without complaining, the other two don't. All the docu for the example data is also OK. I went through

blank plot----how do I make symbols appear
Hi, I am trying to create a scatterplot, coding each point to one of 5 populations. I was successful when I did this for one set of data, yet when I try plotting other data a blank plot appears (although the axes are labelled and I can fit the regression lines from each population). I have tried a variety of things to fix this but nothing seems to work. I can plot the points if I do not

More strange R CMD build/check errors on Windows
Hi, This is a follow up to: https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/r-devel/2010-July/057921.html The Bioconductor daily builds have been reporting a lot of strange things lately on Windows using R-2.12. This started 2 or 3 months ago and things are not getting better with recent R-2.12. Here is a sample from today's build results. We use Windows Server 2003 R2 for the 32-bit builds, Windows

[LLVMdev] How does the debug info correspond to the normal info?
Hey, LLVM allows to export source level debug information via meta data, I am wondering if there is any mappings between the information in the normal LLVM code and that in the meta data associated with the normal LLVM code. Consider one usage. Given an function parameter (argument) "x", via "getType()" we retrieve the type of "x". The type might be, to some

Plot questions: grid line do not correspond to tick marks and 2 line axis label

Predicted values based on fixed effects do not correspond with actual data in cross-classified generalized linear mixed model (lmer)
Dear R-Users, I have fitted a cross-classified generalized linear mixed model using the lmer package with the following code. Mod<-lmer(y~x+(1|a)+(1|b)+ (1|c), family=binomial) In this case, only including a covariate (x) as a fixed effect. The fitted values, using fitted(mod), correspond to the raw data nicely, and the mean of the fitted values is equal to the mean of the raw data. In
