Hi, i have the pleasure to announce that a start was undertaken to be able to replace the 2 existing closed source Ogg Vorbis DirectShow filters for Windows. The Corecodec team around their main DirectShow developer, Christophe 'Toff' Paris, has released the sourcecode for a working and tested Vorbis DirectShow filter on the Corecodec.org opensource community.

Hi all, This may sound like a weird problem, but I am trying to create a DirectShow graph (using the Theora DirectShow filters from http://www.illiminable.com/ogg/) where I have a video source, which is connected to the Theora encoder, which is then connected to a Theora decoder. Hi! What is the status of DirectShow support (read: playy vorbis in Windows Media Player 9 or 10 ) ? The vorbis.com web pages only link to some ancient web pages (xwmedia and tobias). Hi good people, Just to inform: I finally fed FFMpeg2Theora with a .VOB input, and the .OGV output produced played back beautifully in VLC, both audio and video. However, the same output .OGV file gave clicks and pops in the audio when fed through Directshow programs. I have been developing some directshow filters for ogg, and vorbis and speex... currently i have an ogg demux filter and a speex/vorbis decoding filter. In this pre-release only vorbis is operational... but the speex decoder is pretty much done... i jsut need to tweak the demux filter so that it can negotiate a speex connection with the other filter. Where can I download the Ogg Vorbis DirectShow Filter? I've heard, that there is a newer version than 0.9.9.5. There's a bug in either OggMux or Tobias' Filter which causes text to be erased after special (unicode?) characters in the chapter list.
