Help with setting up ARM embedded clang + lld
Ok, thanks! I got it going that way. I'd still love to hear from anyone off list working on similar stuff. ~Scott On Sun, Apr 30, 2017, at 03:32 PM, Joerg Sonnenberger wrote: > On Sun, Apr 30, 2017 at 03:18:35PM -0700, Scott Shawcroft via llvm-dev > wrote: > > Hi all, > > I've been doing a ton of embedded work (bare metal ARM Cortex M0+ and > > M4, hopefully RISCV

Help with setting up ARM embedded clang + lld
Hi all, I've been doing a ton of embedded work (bare metal ARM Cortex M0+ and M4, hopefully RISCV in the future) in the last year and would love to start using and hacking on the llvm toolchain. I've tried setting up clang + lld but can't get lld to work because clang tries to launch gcc. I realize support is early but I'd love to have a dev setup so I can help fix things. Could

Help with setting up ARM embedded clang + lld
Awesome! I got lld running but it GCed all my sections away. :-) I'll keep experimenting with it. ~Scott On Mon, May 1, 2017, at 07:11 AM, Renato Golin wrote: > On 30 April 2017 at 23:47, Scott Shawcroft via llvm-dev > <llvm-dev at lists.llvm.org> wrote: > > Ok, thanks! Parentheses for precedence?
I''m not sure whether this is a bug or whether I''m simply expecting Ferret queries to work in a way other than they''re intended. I notice that if use a query like: (other_text:"Collaborative tools") AND NOT other_text:podcasts I''ll get correct search results. However, if I put parentheses around the second part, like:

New and need help
Hello everyone. I haven't used Icecast yet but I'm hoping it can help me with what I want to do. I listen to podcasts a lot. Most of the time I'm at work I have something playing in the background. The problem is once one ends I have to select another to play. Or if they have all been played I can't use the auto next feature. So what I would like to do is setup a machine

Feedback about Vorbis Comment Chapter Extension
Hallo again! Some month ago we discussed about the Vorbis Comment Chapter Extension: http://wiki.xiph.org/Chapter_Extension I got some critics about this specification, especially from the VLC developers: see https://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/6895 Some parts of it: <cite> This specification allows holes between chapters and allows overlapping chapters... And does not explain what to

Rhythmbox Replacement
Hey Y'all, I though I would resurrect a long dead mail chain. I'm looking for a good replacement for Rhythmbox. I need a pod catcher to catch podcasts and download them to my HD where I can then move them onto my mp3 player that I take to work every day. I don't need a new mp3 player so don't suggest VLC. It is not able to download podcasts. I'm in the process of

Enhanced Podcasts with Ogg Vorbis (Chapter Marks)
Hello list! Since it is more and more common these days to create enhanced podcasts (= audio files with additional chapter markers [1]), I am searching for an alternative to the currently used MP4 format. ID3 also puplished an official standard for chapters [2], but nobody seems to use and support it. Now I am trying to get something similar with vorbis audio (and maybe an additional

Retain parts of a matrix
Hi all, I'm working to apply a function that will generate a matrix of results only when a specific criteria is met. I want my final results to be a matrix with both the values that meet the criteria (the results of the function), and those that to do in the same positions in the matrix (the original numbers). Here's a sample of what I would like to do: t.mean.1.c <- c(-15, -20,

OGG compression optimization
Hi, We have worked out an approach to optimize audio compression for OGG files achieving best or pre-defined quality and best compression ratio. If there is interest in this please consider reading this blog post: http://blog.sevana.fi/optimize-bitrate-and-size-preserving-high-audio-quality-in-tracks-podcasts-tunes-with-aqua-wideband/ Thanks! I dont have any phone service. The phone is working fine and have used it for hours listening to podcasts. And I can plug it to any phone in the house. Now I am thinking if I can plug another phone

sound problems... config?
The www has failed me with this, so I'm trying you guys. Sound worked great out of the box when I installed 7.2... Yay! I could watch all kinds of videos, like on facebook and youtube. And I could listen to most podcasts too. But then something happened. It was either a kernel upgrade or that I installed vlc (for watching videos on DVD) and the whole stack of codecs for it... I
