Joining .WAV files with ogg-vorbis
By the way, I was delighted to find out that I could join .ogg files
with cat, i.e.
cat {file1.ogg} file2.ogg > outputfile.ogg
<p>I successfully used this capability, together with oggenc and sox, to
join two .WAV files in the following manner:
<p>oggenc -q9 file1.wav
...
oggenc -q9 file2.wav
---
cat file1.ogg file2.ogg > outfile.ogg
ox outfile.ogg outfile.wav
I get

MOS-test using package vegan
Dear all,
I am using MOStest in vegan to examine the hump-shaped of
a quadratic regression model.
In the manual of vegan, it mentions that the value of MOStest include
isHump.
My result showed the quadratic regression is hump-shaped according to the
p-value (nearly 0).
However, the value isHump did not show up.
Please kindly help where to find isHump.

Samba 2.2.7 Session setup fails with NetApp filer (F850).
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
I would dearly like to access CIFs directories on a NetApp filer
(850) with Linux/*ix SMB clients.
Unfortunately, smbclient from Samba 2.2.7 fails with a session setup

Virgin Radio launches an Ogg stream
Apologies if this is a bit of a commercial post (I've not been lurking
long), but you might like to know that the world's most listened-to online
radio station has just launched an Ogg stream. (As of today!)
http://www.virginradio.co.uk/thestation/listen/ogg.html
(or alternatively www.virginradio.co.uk/thestation/listen from a non MSIE+PC
browser).
Any ideas you have to help promote this
