Samba_dlz: canceling trasaction on zone domain
Hi there, I'm in the process of switching from using Samba4 internal DNS to using BIND as my backend DNS. However, I'm currently running into some issues with the transition. Here's an example of the messages I'm getting from /var/log/messages logs: Nov 9 15:34:26 pho-dcpvl-01N named[27524]: samba_dlz: starting transaction on zone DOMAIN Nov 9 15:34:26 pho-dcpvl-01N

[fred@vonlohmann.com: Re: pho: How Live365 fights back...]
k' then. now our problem... We have (in the netherlands) a site which has the top 100 singles in Real. We have the copy bit on, still Warner wants us to only stream 30 seconds of each song. Even worse, our on demand 'radio station', which has thousands of songs on request is threatened too. Any idea how we stand? Maarten ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jack Moffitt"

Samba_dlz: canceling trasaction on zone domain
Hey Rowland, Below is a cutdown version of my DHCP. As you can see, I haven't really set anything up for ddns-update. While using Samba4's internal DNS I had the setting 'ddns-update-style interim;' and it seemed to have worked fine. But with bind I'm not sure what else is needed. Thanks for taking a look at it. Newbie here/batch encoding
Hi everyone. I just discovered Ogg Vorbis and I AM IMPRESSED. Here's my question: I want to encode a batch of wavs and I'm not sure how to do it using command line. (The drag n drop version doesn't seem to want to work for me so I won't bother with it.) Anyway, I know the command line has the option "-s" for a series of input files but I'm not sure how to use it. Will

[ot] PCABX problems under win98
I've been preparing some samples of a recent pre-rc4 compile for ABX testing, using the PCABX tool at pcabx.com. I was able to run this successfully under win95/osr2 earlier, but now under 98se, no dice. All I get is an error message reading: "Component 'MCI32.OCX' not correctly registered: file is missing or invalid". I found the file online and tried putting it in

Vorbis support in Winamp
I would like you guys to test the latest version of my plug-in: http://www.blorp.com/~peter/zips/in_vorbis.zip This one is considered the final version and there are no known bugs in it, but you might be able to find some. quick notes: * HTTP seeking is as slow as hell, don't use it. * UTF8 stuff should (finally) work correctly now. -Peter PS. Better genre editor user IS being worked on.

channel coupling in rc2
This question has probably been asked a zillion times, but I'm either too dumb or too lazy to sift through the archives, so I'll ask it here again: Which of the bitrates in RC2 utilize channel coupling and which don't? And when can we expect to choose for ourselves whether we want to use channel coupling at any particular bitrate? Thanks for your patience, mlf -- Michael Flegel,

WinAmp Plugin with HTTP Streaming Support

ISO Website-embedded Ogg player
Since Flash has MP3 support built in, it is possible to create a Flash movie that will play a streaming MP3 file. This is useful for when someone wants to have a radio broadcast using MP3 files and they want to create a flash "applet" for playing the broadcast, which could keep the viewer/listener still attached to the website to enjoy other content at the same time. Perhaps such a
