Theora performance
Hi list, I just came across this site: http://web.mit.edu/xiphmont/Public/theora/demo.html I was wondering are these issues being addressed or will be addressed before the 1.0 release? Theora is like the only open sourced free code people can use, i will be nice if it performs close to other libs. please keep up the good work! -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was

Final Theora Roadmap Meeting: April 11, 6:00 UTC / April 10 23:00 Canada/Pacific
Sorry this is being set so on top of schedule, but it's the date Ralph and derf have confirmed as be able to attend. This will be (hopefully) the final meeting to set the release date for non-RC 1.0, as well as find out what the core developer team is up to. An agenda may be found here[1]. Feel free to fill it with matters deemed worthy of discussion. You may review what was already

Updates to development?
Hi, again. Are there any updates to the development of Theora? Like a version 1.2? I ask this because I want to be re-assured Theora is not just sitting while people are choosing H.264... -- Daniel Hendrycks -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... ffmpeg2theora 0.25 synchronization issues when converting from .mov
Has anyone noticed this? I have a video made with Final Cut Pro, which I convert to .mov via Compressor. This .mov file plays back fine in Quicktime. But when I then use ffmpeg2theora to convert to ogv, the video seems to play back too fast compared to the audio (I'm using VLC 1.0.2, the latest I believe, to play back the ogv file, and I also have an app that uses the recently

[Fwd: Re: libtheora MMX patch]
Forwarding an email exchange that I had with Nils Pipenbrinck regarding the state of the MMX patch for visual studio-style assembly. I also run with the patches, and everything looks fine as far as I can tell. Is this enough for a go-ahead to put that stuff into the mainline (if it's not there already)? -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: libtheora MMX patch Date: Sun, 06

virt-install with --channel option inquiry
hi, virt guys, This is Hongqing from Fedroa QA team. I try to forward the guest installation logs to host with virtio. I have used virsh edit <guestName> to add a channel, it works fine. I think it would be better if I can initialize it when I create the guest using virt-install, and virt-install also offers the option, I have tried below, but it does not work. virt-install

Processing incoming calls with multiple contextst over PRI
So I have a problem. A customer of mine wants a PBX, owns an office building. I want to sell him on asterisk. He has 4 tenants. I am using my asterisk box to simulate it. My asterisk box has a TDM400P card, not a PRI card. Don't know if it makes any difference. Anyway, I want to route incoming phone calls to different contexts based on the phone number being called. Here is my

Asterisk handling of SIP info
We encouter a situation where we need to use SIP info to convey infomation for one end point to another endpoint. I use asterisk to do the test and find asterisk does not forward the SIP info to another endpoint, but act as UAS and returns a 4xx error message. I think asterisk is not right to handle this SIP info message. In RFC 3261 Page 70 "This protocol is designed to be extended.
