PowerWare 9120 via USB?
Hello... I have a PowerWare 9120 attached via USB to my Debian system. My ups.conf looks like this: [ups1] driver = bcmxcp_usb port = auto desc = "PowerWare 9120" When testing the driver with "upsdrvctl -u root start" I get: Network UPS Tools - UPS driver controller 2.0.4 Network UPS Tools - BCMXCP UPS driver 0.10 (2.0.4) Communications with UPS

Powerware 9120 serial connection via USB/serial dongle
I decided to try this to see if it worked better since Powerware decided to build in some oddball USB protocol instead of using a HID UPS profile, but it doesn't seem to work. The USB/serial dongle is recognized by Linux and added as /dev/ttyUSB0, owned by group "dialout", so I had to add the nut user to the dialout group. In the compatibility list, the proper driver for the

Powerware 9120 / bcmxcp losing communication
Hi all, I just acquired a new UPS and have been trying to get it to work with NUT. It's an Eaton/Powerware 9120 700i with both USB and RS-232 interfaces. I first tried the USB interface (using bcmxcp_usb) and found that the UPS worked fine for a few minutes but then NUT lost communication and didn't get it back. In addition the UPS itself seemed to lock up at one point such that the

Theres is nothing like "battery.charge.low: 30" or "battery.charge.warning: 30". I get: ambient.temperature battery.(charge|runtime|voltage) driver.(misc) input.(misc) output.(misc)

bcmxcp patch
Hi Michael, I've forwarded your patch to Kjell, who's maintaining the bcmxcp driver, and to the nut development list. Kjell and others have more knowledges of the xcp protocol and will be able to analyze your patch. 2008/1/4, michalwd1979 <michalwd1979 at o2.pl>: > Hello Arnaud, > I am sending You a small patch to bcmxcp.c and bcmxcp.h files from nut-2.2.0. Data string for 2 instant commands to Powerware 9110
Hi all I was wondering if one of you kind gentlemen (or ladies) would assist me in finding the data string required to tell my ups to turn on and off. No more no less :) I guess it would be the actual string of an instant command sent down the rs232 port to the ups. I have no programming experience and have done a list search to no avail. Sorry to trouble you with this. I have a lan to

In search of Headset Compatible Analog Phone
I have been looking for analog phones for my * system that work with our plantronic amplifiers and headsets. I have even purchased the Aastra 9120 which sais it has on-hook

bcmxcp_usb offers no runtime or serial # with a Powerware 5110/700va
Hi everyone, First of all a big thank you for the NUT package, I've been using it for years and couldn't get by without it! I have two Powerware UPS's here, a 9120/1500va and a 5110/700va. The 9120 has used a hacked bcmxcp driver (serial) from the 2.0.2 nut version for about a year now (which I'll explain more about in a seperate email to the dev list), and the 5110 which I just
