overriding shutdown for LXC
Moin Im using lxc at libvirt for LXC-applicationcontainer. Works quite nice for now, beside shutting down the container, which is not implemented. Hooks don't help here, as far as I found out. Is there a way to override/define the shutdown function? Regards Erkan -- ?ber den grenzen mu? die freiheit wohl wolkenlos sein

How to retrieve a method
Hi there, I am interested in the inner workings of wilcox.test: > wilcox.test function (x, ...) UseMethod("wilcox.test") <environment: namespace:stats> how can I get at the code, if it is R-code? For Methods one should be able to learn what extension to use, but here default or such do not help. Is there a wayplot.default to learn which different versions of

icecast and RTMP
Dear Icecast developers, we (freiheit.com and radio.de) are using Icecast as a streaming server. Our targeted client is based on Adobe flash. We investigate the options to implement RTMP streaming (an Adobe streaming format: http://osflash.org/documentation/amf) as an alternative streaming format for the Icecast server to improve the quality of audio streaming in flash clients. Aquamacs/emacs and color of echo in R console
Hi I have been unable to find information on the following problem: All the text in my *R* window is shown in light red, starting after the echo "This is mgcv 1.5-6 . For overview type ", the following `help("mgcv-package")' is already in the light red. This color annoys me because I need more contrast, and it is even worse for use with a beamer. In the options menu

problems with pan(): Indizierung ausserhalb der Grenzen = subscript out of bounds

[LLVMdev] how to get path profile information ?
What version of LLVM are you using? The profiling framework is completely messed up in the newer versions of LLVM.. I used to work with profiling in 2.5 some time ago, and it seemed to work fine.. If you really need this to work quickly, you might want to just get the old version and get on with it.. The newer versions of LLVM need to get the profiling part fixed soon..It is messing up my work as

when loading library tripack entry point "signal" in rgui.exe (PR#9392)
This is not a bug in R. Please read the FAQs! You have got a version of tripack that has been compiled for R < 2.4.0. Please type update.packages(checkBuilt = TRUE) and try again. XP clients & inexplicable pauses
Hi folks, I recently upgraded two client/server pairs to WinXP and Samba 2.2.6 (on Linux). Browsing mounted shares causes hangs when right-clicking or double-clicking/ launching files -- about 15 seconds. During this, precious little network activity is occuring. Something is hanging, locking, sleeping. Appreciate any advice. Hope it's a simple fix. If not, I'd appreciate advice on

wrong time in guest logs
Hi, i have several vm's running on KVM hosts. Recently i found out that the time in the log-files of the guests (/var/log/libvirt/qemu/xxx.log) is wrong. The time on the guest itself is right, just the time in the log-files is one hour back. Windows and linux vm's are affected. Also on another host the same. Changing the clock offset does not have any influence, still the wrong time in
