This appears to be because R does not check the return value of the system popen, and I have a simple patch

[PATCH] core: Add support for BLS Type 1 entries
Modern distributions are moving toward a common boot scheme called "The Boot Loader Specification". This patch enables syslinux to parse the drop-in files that are defined by this new specification. sshd also talking HTTP
(I'm not subscribed to the list, please Cc me on replies). We have configured sshd to listen on port 80 for some of our users who are behind sufficiently paranoid firewalls. However, others are now confused since they're expecting a web server on port 80. So, I created a small patch (just as proof-of-concept so far), that determines the type of client connecting. A web client will start

[PATCH 2/2] core: Fix stack overflow when reloading config
From: Sylvain Gault <sylvain.gault at gmail.com> The behavior when running a "CONFIG" command line is to reload ldlinux.c32 with the new file as argument. This call never return. In order to avoid stacking up the calls to start_ldlinux, this patch introduce a setjmp/longjmp to return to the first call to start_ldlinux, thus freeing all the stack space. Signed-off-by: Sylvain

upsd problem with NUT 2.6.1
Hi, I've had NUT 2.6.1 on OpenIndiana working with a Tripp-Lite ECO550. I've been playing around with the config files a little bit, and I must have done something that messed up the demon. Hi all, Have a strange behaviour that I don't know how to debug. This is when I use the Eaton PW5125 ups. I have it connected And running in standby. Starting up the drivers (pw3105 and pw5125) and they run. Start up the upsd and can read info from both of them. The 3105 is supplying the computer and the 5125 have a dummy load. The 5125 is showing that it is off line. Now when I hit the on

[GIT PULL] elflink cmdline
Hi, The following patches are just copying some functionality that exists in the asm cmdline code into the C version. There's still a few more things to do but we're getting there. The following changes since commit 8c576f1fe03e34879921311f46613a35c6530000: Merge remote-tracking branch 'mfleming/for-hpa/elflink/fix-compiler-warnings' into elflink (2011-03-16 12:53:58 -0700)

[PATCH] drop root privileges on solaris, request for testing
Hello all, this patch allows master process to drop more root priveleges under Solaris. My limited testing shows that code works, but I'm not sure that defined privilege set is permissive enough for dovecot. Unfortunately I have no root access to our Solaris servers to really test it. So if someone is ready to test this patch please do it :) Best regards. -------------- next part

Avelsieve 1.9.7 and Dovecot/TLS
Hi, i'm installing a new mail server for our faculty and want to use the squirrelmail plugin 'avelsieve' (1.9.7). As documented on the dovecot wiki there is a problem in the STARTTLS code and i found a solution (that works for my installation): i've traced the server output in 'get_response' and instead of a script list i saw "IMPLEMENTATION". So i took a look

Exim4 authentication patch
Hello all, attached patch makes possible to use dovecot as an authentication backend for Exim 4. Reasons beyond this patch are simple: exim's authenticators require use of plaintext passwords and NTLM code in exim is quite outdated and hairy. Patch generated against Exim 4.43, but should apply to earlier versions too. Patch adds new 'dovecot' authenticator, which can be used as such:

enabling more syntax-checks
The first c-set cleans up the list of excluded syntax-checks. The second enables the sc_avoid_ctype_macros test and changes each use of a ctype macro like isspace to c_isspace. This makes it so such tests (often parsing-related) is locale-independent. Otherwise, in some odd corner cases (combination of non-C locale and perverted inputs), I suspect that libguestfs tools would mistakenly accept
