Shift/ALT/CTRL keys sticking in Wine...
I am using Wine in Freebsd 6.3-RELEASE and everything seemed to be running flawlessly until I began using a development tool we use on a project I'm working on, NuSphere PHPEd. I don't think that is the problem, however, because it seems to do it everywhere. Basically, I can begin typing and the Shift/ALT keys work fine until I press them about 4-5 times. Not in a row...4-5 times

Connection problems with Steam games
Hello,
I've been having problems trying to run Steam games. The Steam itself takes up a lot of resources even when idle, for some reason, but the games run rather smoothly - in menu that is.
Most of the games I have on steam are multiplayer games, and as the topic title suggests, I can't ever get to play them due to problems on connection. When playing Men of War, the game freezes on

Epson PrintCD
I tried to install printcd (2.0) using wine ver 1.3.28. It installs but cannot find the printer. The error message is driver for cd printing not found. I can print manually by making my RX700 the printer default, but the output to plain paper is badly distorted. I'm running Ubuntu 11.10. Otherwise the program seems to run correctly. Any suggestions? I'm a linux newby.
Thanks!

Accessing a Modem / Dial-up telnet connection
Hi Mr newbie here. Using 32-bit Ubuntu 11.10 and Wine 1.3.28. I have installed a Creative PCI Modem and that works well as /dev/modem from things like putty. I've done the link ln -s /dev/modem ~/.wine/dosdevices/com6 so it's now my com6 within wine. However, using teraterm the response from the modem is bitty and slow and pretty useless. If I do something like AT\r the OK\r does come

Help getting Plan3D to work???
Hello. I have recently converted exclusively to Linux since I was only using Windows for a single program. I would love to get it working through WINE, but it looks like it's going to be more difficult than expected.
I downloaded the program file from http://plan3d.com/pages/memberInstallInstrucs.aspx . I dropped the .msi file into C:\windows/system32 then ran this code:

Problem with automatic mounting of disc drive (Ubuntu 11.10)
Hi!
First of all, WINE is great! There is only one little inconvenience for me: I am using WINE 1.2 under Ubuntu 11.10. It automatically mounts CDs and DVDs at /media/(disc name). So whenever I insert a new disc, I have to change the configuration of WINE which is a bit annoying. I could not find any help via Google. On ubuntuforum.org I was told to point WINE to the device itself (/dev/sr0)

You are indeed correct (I must have been looking at the RHEL3 dir**):
