lustre e2fsck corrupts files by changing i_size
Hello,
We have an IA64 cluster with 64K kernel page size and we use lustre
1.4.8.1 and e2fsprogs-1.39cfs8.
We meet the following problem :
1. I Create a Lustre file system, then start this file system and mount
it on a client node
2. On this client node, I copy 2 files in my /mnt/lustre
3. I umount Lustre file system on this client node then stop Lustre file
system
4. I use then :

Luster clients getting evicted
on our cluster that has been running lustre for about 1 month. I have
1 MDT/MGS and 1 OSS with 2 OST''s.
Our cluster uses all Gige and has about 608 nodes 1854 cores.
We have allot of jobs that die, and/or go into high IO wait, strace
shows processes stuck in fstat().
The big problem is (i think) I would like some feedback on it that of
these 608 nodes 209 of them have in dmesg

Dear developer,
in my version of R (2.4.0) as weel as in a more recent version (2.6.0)
on different computers, we found this problem :

Something seems wrong here.

then everything is ok.

[LLVMdev] Seg faulting on vector ops
Hrm. This problem shouldn't be target specific. I am pretty sure
prologue / epilogue inserter aligns stack correctly if there are
stack objects with greater than default stack alignment requirement.
Seems to be the initial alloca() instruction should specify 16 byte
alignment?

I am fairly certain this is right. Chuck, can you do a quick
experiment for me? Go back to your original code but make sure the
alloca instruction specify 16-byte alignment. The code should work.
If not, please file a bug.
Thanks,
Evan

[LLVMdev] Seg faulting on vector ops
Hola LLVMers,
I'm looking to make use of the vectorization primitives in the Intel
chip with the code we generate from LLVM and so I've started
experimenting with it. What is the state of the machine code generated
for vectors? In my tinkering, I seem to be getting some wonky machine
instructions, but I'm most likely just doing something wrong and I'm
hoping you can set me in

Domain Browsing broken after upgrade from 3.0.10 -> 3.0.21
Or maybe it was the upgrade from FC2 -> FC4..........
I recently was running a FC2 Samba PDC and OpenLDAP, using Samba-3.0.10.
After I upgraded the server from FC2 to FC4 samba was broken and
wouldn't load because it was complaining about a library file not
existing. (libldap.so.2) I believe.. Sure enough it wasn't there. So
I had to recompile Samba 3.0.10 again. Well the compile

How to build virt-v2v after the project was separated
Looks like virt-v2v cannot be built now, since it requires non-existing version
of libguestfs-devel.
Based on (no README or any instructions in virt-v2v)
http://libguestfs.org/guestfs-building.1.html
I tried this:
git clean -dxf
./autogen.sh
And it fails with:
--- Checking for libraries used by virt-v2v ---
checking for pkg-config... /usr/bin/pkg-config
checking pkg-config is at least version

obdfilter/datafs-OST0000/recovery_status
I''m evaluating lustre. I''m trying what I think is a basic/simple
ethernet config. with MDT and OST on the same node. Can someone tell
me if the following (~150 second recovery occurring when small 190 GB
OST is re-mounted) is expected behavior or if I''m missing something?
I thought I would send this and continue with the eval while awaiting
a
response.

lustre+samba
Dear All,
I try to use our cluster though samba share. Everything work fine, but
I think, we should have -o flock at lustre mount time.
Great, it''s work. But when I want to save a file on the share, I get
this on the logs:

Issues running Asterisk + Iaxmodem + Hylafax on same machine
I'm running into a strange issue with Asterisk + Iaxmodem + hylafax on
the same machine. After rebooting the iaxmodems don't register to
asterisk. Stoping and starting the relevant services gets it working,
but what is the point of using init scripts if it does not work right?
I already tried to adjust the init scripts in /etc/rc3.d so I have:
S50asterisk
s90iaxmodem
S95hylafax
