persp()
Hello
I am trying to draw a basic black and white map of two European countries.
After searching some key words in google and reading many pages I arrived to the conclusion that persp() could be used to draw that map.
I have prepared three small example files, which are supposed to be the files required for running that function.
xvector is a vector with the longitudes
yvector is a vector with

Increasing grayscale value in scatter plot with number of points on particular location
Dear all,
When making a plot with the command plot(xVector, yVector), there are many
points that collide on the same place in the plot. In order to make this
plot clearer, I have been looking for a way to colour the points based on
the number of points that fall onto each other. If only one point falls on a
particular location, make it gray, if many points fall, make it black.
I tried to search

Problemas con la funcion "apply"
Buenos dias!

Backend implementation for an architecture with only majority operation instruction
Hey Sean,
So the processor does in-memory computing, it reads instructions and
operands from the memory array, performs the majority operations within the
memory array itself.
It does instructions using resistive majority which is AB'+B'C+AC
Like it does AND operation as
1: 0, 1, @C; //C=0
2: 0, 1, @Binv; //Binv=0
3: 1, @B, @Binv; //Binv=B
4: @A, @Binv, @C; //C=A.B
where each operation is

Backend implementation for an architecture with only majority operation instruction
Hello everyone,
I was trying to create an LLVM backend for a processor with a very simple architecture and that does all instructions like load, store, arithmetic and logical instructions using a bunch of majority functions. The processor has only one instruction(majority function) in its ISA and breaks down all other instructions into a number of majority instructions depending on what

PAN: Need Help for Multiple Imputation Package
Hello all. I am trying to run PAN, multilevel
multiple imputation program, in R to impute missing
data in a longitudinal dataset. I could successfully
run the multiple imputation when I only imputed one
variable. However, when I tried to impute a
time-varying covariate as well as a response variable,
I received an error message, “Error: subscript out of
bounds.” Can anyone tell if my commands

problems with pan(): Indizierung ausserhalb der Grenzen = subscript out of bounds
Dear alltogether,
I tried pan() to impute NAs for longitudinal data.
The terminology in the following output follows the pan manpage. No data
are attached to this script as this may be too huge.
y = 15 responses
pred = at first just intercept was tried (later on covariates should follow)
subj = 168 different subjects with 4 to 6 observations for each subject
at time points t1, t2, ..., t6

Intel-VTd problem
Hello to you guys,
yeah Im also one of the people who seem to have a corrupted BIOS.
I read already stuff about the issue''s with certain vendors -
and I guess in one particular area it was made clear that even you
cant do a lot about it you still collect details.

encoder observation
Hello!
First of all a question:
When you make the encoder tables (ie: mode_e.h)
do you use the mapping0_forward function?
Because you made the encoder tables, and after this
you did a minor correction in the final beta4 ...
(this correction was:
additional[0]=fabs(additional[0]*scale);
in the mapping0_forward function)
(I see this was a bug, and the modification
was correct, but this correction

quantreg::rq.fit.hogg crashing at random
Dear all,
I am using the "rq.fit.hogg" function from the "quantreg" package. I have
two problems with it.
First (less importantly), it gives an error at its default values with
error message "Error in if (n2 != length(r)) stop("R and r of incompatible
dimension") : argument is of length zero". I solve this by commenting four
lines in the code. I.e. I

longitudinal imputation with PAN
Hello all,
I am working on a longitudinal study of children in the UK and trying the PAN package for imputation of missing data, since it fulfils the critical criteria of taking into account individual subject trend over time as well as population trend over time. In order to validate the procedure I have started by deleting some known values ?we have 6 annual measures of height on 300 children

Imputation using Pan in R
Hi,
I've tried to run the multiple imputation for longitudinal data using Pan in
R.
The trimmed data consist 10 individuals across 4 time points.
Following the example in panex.R, I imputated the model with one y variable
and only random intercept.
It worked well.
The next step for me is to imputate a model with one y variable and both
random intercept and slope.
The program ran well, but

R crash when using pan for multiple imputation
Dear R-List,
I apologize for not posting a reproducible example - the reason is that I
actually do not succeed in reproducing my specific problem with
generated data.
Let me still describe the problem:
I want to impute missing data using the "pan" package.
a) It works, when I use a fraction of my data (e.g. 200 out of 44000 cases)
b) It works, when I generate a dataset of equal
