Tinc on OsX, slowly getting there....
I have now got the tinc demons (on network OFFICES) on BranchB and
BranchA talking to each other, and I have been able to access
services (like AFP, Apple file sharing) between the two hosts (in
both directions), but not beyond the local network connected to
BanchA.
I am unclear which routing can be provided by tinc and which routing
would I have to add manually.
The aim is:
BranchB is a

Tinc on MacOs X
My intention is to set up tinc so that I can connect from home to an
office network. All CPUs are running MacOs X, 10.2.8 or 10.3.5.
I have read the tinc manual, tincd.8 and tinc.conf.5. However, I am
still unclear about a few issues.
First and foremost, how to I setup the VPN interfaces on the hosts,
on MacOs X? Which file do I have to alter and what is the exact
syntax on Os X to setup

Sip to Sip
I appologize if this was already answered somwhere on http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk, I'm sure it probably is. And if you wish to just point me to a link that would be appreciated. I am very new to asterisk and unix all around, so these questions may sound rather ignorant.
First being, how do I setup asterisk to point to another asterisk server and make all the lines which should

For Branch A
BranchA would be configured like this:
In /etc/tinc/company/tinc-up:

ifconfig $INTERFACE 10.1.54.1 netmask 255.0.0.0
Is netmask 255.255.0.0 or 255.0.0.0 ?
Thank you!

Compile R-1.7.0 on Mac OS 10.2.6
Hi,
I can't get R-1.7.0 to compile on my Mac. Can someone give me some
pointers?
The machine is an 800MHz iBook running OS 10.2.6. I have installed the
December 2002 Developers Tools and have installed g77, f2c and dlcompat
via fink. I've checked the versions of g77 and gcc and they're both
based on gcc version 3.1. I've got Apple's X11 (Beta 3). I've added

installing R and Rcmdr onMacOS 10.3.9
I have been trying to install the new, patched R 2.1.0a along with the
Rcmdr on my mac. I got the basic R package installed, but in Project
Manager, the tcltk package will not install.
When I downloaded the Rcmdr binary package from the Berkeley site, it
did not show up on the package installer list until a second attempt,
but it still does not show up on the package manager list.

r version 2.1.0 and graphics in mac os 10.3.9
I use mac os 10.3.9 and I've installed in my computer R 2.1.0 (I
believe this is the latest R version).
Although it works alright when I open R by clicking in the R icon, I
cannot use the graphics facility when I open R from a X-terminal window
(or x-11 window).
In fact, when I try to open R I get the message that I pasted below.
Is this a R bug?
Is R assuming that I should have the

Tinc1.1pre10 on Windows 8.1?
Hello tincers,
I run a small tinc mesh using version 1.1pre10 on mostly linux (debian) hosts. In the past, I was able to successfully join my windows machine to the tinc network, when I was running an earlier version of tinc (throughout the mesh). However, with 1.1pre10, I have had no success. Is this a known error, a misconfiguration on my part, or some other issue? I currently have no tinc-up

[LLVMdev] Problems loading passes on Mac OS X
Unfortunately it's not that easy, although I'd love to fix it if I can
figure out how.
OS X 10.3 does have dlfcn.h and dlopen() - for 10.3, they added the
dlcompat library that uses the OS X NSLink* stuff to support dlopen and
dlsym. configure seems to pick that up fine.
It seems like the code that's there already should work fine, so I'm
not sure where else to look.

we currently set up a large tinc network with 2 central Nodes (these nodes connecting to each other).

Basic configuration problem
Hello,
I have been reading through the documentation and trying to set up a very
small VPN as a test for a larger rollout that I would like to complete in
the future but cannot get this working. The configuration seems like it
should be relatively simple, so I'm most likely missing something basic but
I just cannot see what I'm doing wrong. At the moment I am trying to get
this working

MacOS Compile questions
Hello,
I've just compiled tinc on OS X and have the following questions when
following the instructions in the manual on the web.
My environment is as follows:
OS X 10.5.6
Fink 0.9.0 (Binary Package)
I'm using TunTap 20080804 from http://tuntaposx.sourceforge.net/
1. dlcompat is not found in fink. It seemed to compile ok without it,
is this critical? I saw no mention of it in the

With the previous versions of R, I could go to any project file in Emacs and
open R within that file with the file images saved. I tried at the end of April
with version 2.1 and then today again with version 2.1a, and opening R within a
file - such as Advantage (one of my files) is impossible. It appears

Behavior like -R and -L SSH
Hi All,
I've been playing around with TINC and like what I've seen so far.
I wanted a TINC tunnel like this, where I have a server on the Internet
with a public IPv4 address as my TINC server. Then I can have clients
connect to it and see each other except that the client at a customer
site would allow me to route behind it so I could see hosts on site beyond
my device on premise. I do
