problems installing R from source: R-2.1.1 Windows XP
Hi everyone,
I’m a Windows XP user. I’m trying to install R-2.1.1 from source, and it
doesn’t work. Here’s what I have done:
* Got the source code from CRAN : R-2.1.1.tar.gz
* Ran ‘tar zxvf R-2.1.1.tar.gz’ in a CMD terminal window. Everything
worked fine. I got my R-2.1.1 folder in C:/Rsource.
* I got the iconv.dll file downloaded and unzipped it in

Problem with dyn.load...or else...
Hi everybody,
I'm working on Mac OS X and R-2.1.0 (by the way, sorry for the multiple
emails last time, had a technical problem, and thanks for the constructive
comments.)
I have a .R function which calls a .C function. The R function's name is
K_MEANSR.R and the other is K_MEANSC.C.
I compile it with 'R CMD SHLIB K_MEANSC.C' in the terminal. I get both .so
and .o files.

some 'official' iptables-1.2.8 and ulogd-1.0.0 RPM's for the respective

Delete rpart/mvpart cross-validation output
Dear all,
I was wondering if there is a simple way to avoid printing the multiple
cross-validation automatic output to the console of recursive partitionning
functions like rpart or mvpart. For example...
> data(spider)
>
mvpart(data.matrix(spider[,1:12])~herbs+reft+moss+sand+twigs+water,spider,xv="1se",xvmult=100)

[ANNOUNCE] ulogd-1.21 released
Hi!
I have released version 1.21 of the iptables userspace logging
daemon (ulogd). This release is a minur bugfix update to the 'brown
paper bag' release 1.20. 1.20 was probably one of the last 'new feature'
updates for ulogd, since I'm already working on ulogd2, which includes
support for plugin stacks, IPFIX and ct_acct.
The new Version is available as tar.bz2 only and can

I have released version 1.20 of the iptables userspace logging

New in CVS
I''ve decided to make a late addition to 1.4.0.
A number of you have encountered a problem whereby TCP connections could
not be established to certain sites. The solution was to turn of
Explicit Congestion Notification (ECN -- RFC 3168).
I have added a facility whereby ECN may be turned off on a host or
network basis.
