--color doesn''t work with --drb w/rspec_autotest
If I got this to work, do you think we could/should check in
rspec_autotest into rspec?
I''ve updated rspec_autotest abit, so let me know if you''d like the
modified code.

metainfo tag called instead of a custom one
Hi,
I had adapted this mailto tag
http://pjkh.com/articles/2007/12/14/webgen-mailto-tag
Now webgen gives me errors like so:
ERROR -- No default mandatory parameter specified for tag
''Webgen::Tag::Metainfo'' but set in </contact.en.html>
ERROR -- No value for meta info key ''mailto'' in </contact.en.html>

Partial site generation
Thank you for providing excellent tools.
I''d like to know about the partial site generation provided by webgen 0.5.2.

Thoughts on webgen 0.5.0
Hi everybody,
I just wanted to let you know that I did not abandon webgen :)
However, I did abandon one thing: the development of webgen 0.5.0 which
started around February 2007. With webgen 0.5.0 I wanted to make it
easier to create plugins and do partial site generation. After working
around a year on this code base (most of the core was created from
scratch, plugins got converted), I realized

Menu - labels
Webgen uses file paths to generate multilevel menues, bread crumbs etc. And
limits the character range in paths to a-zA-Z. As the directory names are
used verbatim as menu labels this is fairly limitting for non-english pages.
Is there a way to map directory names to configurable UTF8 strings for menu
labels?

textile formatting questions
Hi,
I have a couple of webgen textile formatting questions. Please feel
free to refer me to a textile mailing list if there is one that is
more appropriate than here.
First, how can I insert three dashes (---) in a <code> or <pre> block?
I want to include a YAML file example, and the yaml document
separator is three dashes, but this conflicts with the separator in
webgen.

anchor tags?
Hi,
Is there a cool webgen way to do anchor tags? I''ve just been doing this:
<span id="anchor_name"/>
...but is there a better way?
Thanks,
Chad

[new user] some features requests ...
Hi,
After many tries, i''ve decided to give up dynamic websites, which
definitely do not match my needs, and instead replace my blog by a
webgen site. I''ve however some unanswered questions.
1) RSS
One of the main interest of dynamic website is the ability to provide
user a view to last updated pages, thanks to RSS. Is there a way for
webgen to generate a RSS file from last

submitting a patch
I''ve created a short patch so that spec.opts can use a single line
(or multiple lines for backwards compatibility) for options. I''ve
run the specs against spec:trunk
I have two questions:
1. I''ve run rake pre_commit, but after the specs are done running, I
get this error:
rake aborted!

Pygments
The Pygments highlighter supports many more languages than CodeRay.
Pygments is written in Python, but I''ve seen non-Python projects use it
(Jekyll, Pygments).
There''s also this: https://github.com/nex3/rb-pygments
Any idea how much work it would be to add Pygments support to Webgen?

User documentation for webgen 0.5.0
Hey all,
I''m considering restructuring of the user documentation for the next
webgen release (developer documentation will be/is already generated
via RDOC).
Currently, all documentation is more or less ''available'' but not
really connected: there is the basic documentation and the tutorial,
the various reference (meta information reference, WebPage Format

OT: html to pdf?
Does anyone know of a simple utility that could convert a
webgen-generated html page to PDF? Or does something like this exist
natively for webgen?
Thanks,

Use RbConfig instead of obsolete and deprecated Config
Hi everyone,
since my last gem update, I get the following error when using webgen:

RbConfig instead of obsolete and deprecated Config.

id on menu
Hi,
how can i make an "id" attribute that can be assigned to every voice of the
generated menu?
For example:
<li class="webgen-menu-item-selected" id="homepage">

</li>
<li id="news">
<a href="news.html">News</a>

and so on ...

Other Menu Content
Dear all,
Is there an another way, rather than using metainfo.yaml, to add links
to external websites and files to the navigation menu? I would prefer
something that I could configure on a per directory basis.
Best wishes,

Menu definition problem
Hi,
I''m currently in the process of switching from my previous web page
management tool (by coincidence also called "webgen" ;-) to webgen-0.5
and stumbled upon a problem regarding the definition of menus, which
I can not resolve either by the online documentation or the previous
posts in the different groups (maybe it is a too trivial question?)
I want to define a standard

Plugin installation similar to rails
Hey all,
I''m considering including a plugin installation mechanism similar to
the one available with the rails script/plugin command in the next
major webgen version.
There would be a repository index located on the webgen homepage,
something like http://webgen.rubyforge.org/plugin-repository.yaml.
This file contains a list of repositories (http and ftp) which
provide webgen

Transformation order
I see that the well-defined order for transforming a page to HTML is:
- Transform the content using the content converter
...
- Replace tags
I think it should be the other way around.
I wrote this plugin that transform
{flickr: <url of the photo>}
into something like:
<div> Foto, caption, etc. </div>
Now, because of the order of transformations, the

webgen 0.5.11 released
Hey everybody!
--------------
webgen 0.5.11 has just been released! If you don''t know what webgen is,
read the "What''s webgen?" section down below.
This announcement is also available at
http://webgen.rubyforge.org/news/release_0_5_11.html
In this release there are two big changes regarding the internals of
webgen:
1. The dependency on facets has been removed
