Assertion failure in gallium on nv50
I upgraded mesa, libdrm, xf86-video-nouveau and the DRM module to
latest git recently (previously I had git versions from Dec 22). Now,
when I try to run a simple GL program with the DRI driver, it fails:
glxgears: /usr/include/nouveau/nouveau_pushbuf.h:135: BIND_RING:
Assertion `0' failed.
The old, previously working build of mesa and the DRI driver also
failed, which makes me think the

[LLVMdev] Segfault when using llvm-3.6 and OpenGL at the same time on Linux (with mesa, which uses llvm-3.4)
Hello there,
tl;dr:
Is it a known behaviour that using llvm-3.4 and llvm-3.6 at the same time
in the same process (while llvm-3.6 is used from a linked shared library
and llvm-3.4 is dlopen'ed - with a strange detail: Especially if -rdynamic
is used when linking the program).
If so, is there a workaround?
If not, can it be fixed in llvm-3.6?
Long story:

libGL error messages
glxgears, chromium etc. run fine.
The problems is these error messages,
$ glxinfo > /dev/null
libGL error: failed to create dri screen
libGL error: failed to load driver: nouveau
How can I make them go away?
I tried everything.
P.S., also /var/log/Xorg.0.log

Re: Wine and WoW Cataclysm Patch 4.0 troubleshooting thread
I only got offered a few choices - I think I clicked yes to all of them.
I read in one post that the answer is to uninstall and re-install the graphics drivers - not sure how that will help, but how do I uninstall nVidia's drivers?
I have a vague memory of someone posting about lib32 paths and simlinks or something.

Compiling 0.9.4x on Fedora 6 32bit - OpenGL not found warning
I have been compiling my own wine RPMs using the fedora extras .spec
file for a while now.
Normally after very little editing of the .spec, the wine RPMs build and
I am running the latest & greatest wine.
Now I am having problems building *any* wine rpms ( including some of
the 0.9.3x versions) on my yum updated Fedora core 6 box.
Even when I extract a fresh copy of wine-0.9.42.tar.bz2

Unable to display a network on GeForce Go 7400 under Fedora
Hello all,
I'm new in this forum. I would like to have your help as I am facing the
following problem:
I've installed the last Gephi release (Gephi 0.8.2-beta) for linux,

The Gephi documentation specifies that

AIGLX problem
Hey everyone,
I followed the guide InstallNouvea from the wiki. Installing the driver
was a walk in the park. However, I do notice these lines in my Xorg.0.log:

(/usr/lib/dri/nouveau_dri.so: cannot open shared object file: No such

Wine has probs with Mount & Blade Warband
Hi;
I want to use Wine to play M&B Warband. I don't know why wine has problems with this; it should probably work.
For further information I created the backtrace:

qemu -display sdl,gl=on also eats CPU
I was testing Ilia's patches for ddx, and while they definitely helped for Xorg itself,
qemu still eats a lot of CPU if launched like this
qemu-system-x86_64 -cdrom ~/Downloads/ISO/slax-English-US-7.0.8-x86_64.iso -m 1G -display sdl,gl=on -enable-kvm
and left for few hours.

undefined symbol for DRI
Hello guys,
Quick question. I use libdrm, kernel drm, mesa and nouveau from git.
However, I got this error:
(EE) AIGLX error: dlopen of /usr/lib64/dri/nouveau_dri.so failed
(/usr/lib64/dri/nouveau_dri.so: undefined symbol: _glapi_tls_Context)
Does it means I need an updated xorg? I'm using 1.6.5
