[TableGen] What to do if there are overlapping instruction patterns?
I've been working on adding support for a (semi-proprietary) extension
for PowerPC called "Paired-Singles". It's a SIMD instruction set
supporting various operations on a vector of 2 32-bit floating point
numbers.
The Extension is found in the PowerPC 750CL, modified variants of it are
used in the Nintendo GameCube (Gekko), the Nintendo Wii (Broadway) and
the Nintendo Wii U

generating Venn diagram with 6 sets
Dear r-helpers,
Here I would like to have your kind helps on generating Venn diagram.
There are some packages within R on this task, like venneuler, VennDiagram,
vennerable. But, vennerable can not be installed on my Mac book. It seems
VennDiagram can not work on my data. And, venneuler may have generated a
wrong Venn diagram to me.
Do you have any experience/expertise on those Venn diagram?

rnorm??
I am wondering whether there is a bug in rnorm.
When generating rnorm(1000000) and counting
the cases > 4 and the cases < (-4) I get rather
unexpectedly low counts for the latter. The problem goes away
when using qnorm(runif(1000000)).

understanding an error message
I have a toshiba copy machine that is also used as a scanner.
The scanner can be set to store files to a SMB UNC. So I create a
username/password for the scanner to login with, then configured a unc path
for to store to. All was working well for a while.
Then the scanner stopped storing to the samba share. Initial analysis
seemed to indicate that the username/password was failing.
So I reset it

Bug(?) in predict.tree() --- Evaluation order of Boolean operators
Dear R users
I have a problem with predict.tree() when I want the fitted values
of a tree object to be returned (i.e. argument 'newdata' is missing).
Whatever I specify for argument 'type' the fitted model object is
returned.
Example:
library(tree)
data(kyphosis)
fit.tree <- tree(Kyphosis ~ Age + Number + Start, data=kyphosis)
p <- predict(fit.tree,

RMark error: only 0's may be mixed with negative subscripts
Hi all,
I have just started using RMark to analyse capture-recapture data. I am
trying to analyse a simulated data set using the Robust Design (two primary
periods with three secondary sessions in each) to estimate apparent
survival. On specifying the time intervals (that tell R about the primary
and secondary sampling sessions), this is the error I get:

[ANNOUNCE] xorg-server 1.16.99.902
Ok, here's what I think we should release as 1.17. I plan on doing that
in a few days (Monday? Tuesday?), unless there's some good reason not
to. Let me know if there's some critical (i.e. crashing) fixes that I've
missed somehow. And, again, I think we can run a shorter 1.18 cycle,
given the pent-up list of fixes.
Sorry for not getting this wrapped up sooner. Turns out that

cluster.min-free-disk working?
Hi,
have a system consisting of four bricks, using 3.3.2qa3. I used the
command
gluster volume set glusterKumiko cluster.min-free-disk 20%
Two of the bricks where empty, and two were full to just under 80% when
building the volume.
Now, when syncing data (from a primary system), and using min-free-disk
20% I thought new data would go to the two empty bricks, but gluster
does not seem

Lots of NMBD zombie processes
Hello,
I am running a Samba 4 DC, recently upgraded to the latest version and I
have just installed a member server to run as a File Server (Samba 4.1.9).
While it seems to be working properly, we are getting a lot of zombie nmbd
processes on the member server, running the command *pidof nmbd* results in:

1.095e+09 for integers
I've had a very long file written out by R with write.table, with
fields of time values, converted from POSIXlt as.numeric. Among 2.5
million values, very few had 6 trailing zeroes, and those were output
in scientific notation as in the subject. Is this the default
behavior for long integers, and how can it be turned off (with all
digits for any integer field in write.table)? This
