Or do you run it from the windows partition? Maybe there are some more dlls/ocxs which are not present in wine but needed and installed from this program. The 87dcfab4... is not found on the system but it's not known on the internet, maybe some proprietary file from this program. bye Fabi

I usually see a lot of OLE related error messages as well, but my programs still run fine. Maybe you could tell us in what way exactly your program doesn't work? Oh, your wine version would also be nice. Daniel

I have found out another thing about Voice of Japan: I tried again to install it on Linux and there where 3 error messages: "Error registering c:\windows\system\Mp3Enc.ocx" "Error registering c:\windows\system\lhspttsx01a.ocx" "Error registering c:\windows\system\ToolTip1.dll" I have found these files in the right folder (.wine/drive_c/windows/system) but is there any possibility to register them manually? -- Echte DSL-Flatrate dauerhaft für 0,- Euro*! Gerfried Essler <Mangamaniac@gmx.at> wrote:> Ok no errors, but alot of fixme's Any idea? Not really. It could be that one of those fimxe's should actually be an err. But sometimes programs under wine just fail without relation to the console messages. In that case, only an extensive debugging session may provide more information. Daniel

Yes! the errors disappeared, but there are still the richedit/ole fixmes. Maybe one of them is really a hidden error :-/ hmm damn it why is it so difficult for wine to get an program as simple as that not to work ?-(> -------- Original-Nachricht -------- > Datum: Thu, 25 May 2006 14:07:59 +0000 (UTC) > Von: Daniel Skorka <skorka@gmx.net> > An: wine-users@winehq.org > Betreff: Re: [Wine] Re: Voice of Japan > > Gerfried Essler <Mangamaniac@gmx.at> wrote: > > Now there are even more fixme-errors than before -.- > > Rejoice!
