QoS net-snmp ?
Hi
I''ve patched net-mrtg http://www.net-snmp.org/
with http://x-ray.prokon.cz/data/snmp/
sucefully
Also I''ve copied QOS.TXT to /usr/local/share/snmp/mibs
when I make a normal use of snmp, with mrtg in order
to monitor all traffic on eth0 and eth1, it works
OK.
But, how must I do in order to get monitor for a
specific class ?
If I make a snmpwalk (like README suggest), I get

Nexenta: "load_mib2nut: using pw mib" package / config / or firewall problem?
G'day
I'm currently using NUT on Debian squeeze box in the same subnet with an IBM
3000 HV (branded Eaton 5125 with Web/SNMP card), now I wanted to get our
storage appliance running NexentaStor 3.1 set up to be using NUT too. Nexenta-
Stor is an OpenSolaris / illumos-based appliance OS currently using
NUT packages
from ubuntu hardy.
My question here is whether I'm running into a

AMD64 vs i386, ifstat and bsnmp
Couple of little things I noticed with a new RELENG_7 AMD64 box (as
of yesterday)
ifstat from the ports cannot seem to find interfaces for some reason
? It works fine on i386

ifstat: no interfaces to monitor!

[OT] snmp not reporting traffic values for a network interface
Hi all!
I know this is quite offtopic, but I found nothing in google nor in
the net-snmp mailing list, and I know there''s a lot of people here
graphing with snmp+rrdtool. I installed net-snmp 5.1.2-6.1 in Debian
to produce graphs for some ethernet interfaces. It seems it''s not
reporting correct values for them. Here''s my snmpd.conf (very simple)
and the output from the

Nut 2.1 vs the resilient Powerware 9170+
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
I figured out why nut seemed to segfault at startup from my Solaris
boxes (and snmp-ups too) - I believe that nut is trying to use some MIBs
that do not exist on my particular PW9170, for whatever reason. It dies
on my Linux box too, complaining like this:
pkdick:~/nut/bin# ./snmp-ups -x mibs=pw -x community=publicstring upsname

One for the Cisco experts...
I have a Cisco 6509 switch that I'm monitoring with SNMP from a
CentOS5 machine. SNMP polls are the only access I have to this
device, we are not allowed to log on via telnet.
How can I find out which port on the switch a particular server is
connected to? I was hoping that this is somehow possible using the
mac address and the data gathered from snmpwalk/snmpget requests but
I'm not

Liebert PSIXR 3000 intellislot web card support with NUT 2.6.0
Hi John, do you have the device (which one? An old SNMP WEB or new UNITY DP or something else?) Or you like to buy one?
If you have (or you can buy) the old one SNMP WEB - then nut should work fine with it via generic snmp driver and you don't need anything else.
If you have (or you must buy) the new one UNITY DP - then I can share my snmp subdriver for it, and you should insert this

I am beginning to explore the mitools package contributed by Thomas

argument used is family=binomial. Does the package support
family=gaussian and other link functions? I ran the with function with

Patch for addition of Cyberpower RMCARD100, 201, 202, 301 (snmp mib)
I did a bunch of work on this today. It should be all set to go.
This patch is to add support for the Cyberpower RMCARD snmp cards.
I basically copied the driver for bestpower, changed the name and
updated the mib map.
I have this running on two separate systems (two separate ups's) and it
looks good.
The only thing I could not figure out was updating the Makefile.am (my

If I understand the commit log for SVN r3590, then that revision was supposed to set the status to OL if the numeric state was 9 for ECO mode. It does not appear to do that:

Monitoring the traffic shaping setup
Hi All,
I am a new member of this list. I want to know about a
way to monitor the traffic shaping setup to confirm
whether it is working as expected. I went through the
archives of this list and found some pointers related
to tc-snmp extension/patch for net-snmp and some perl
scripts on www.docum.org. I want to know whether this
type of a setup work. Or else is there any other way ?
Actually I am
