7 arguments passed to .Internal(identical) which requires 6
I know this has come up before on R-help (http://r.789695.n4.nabble.com/7-arguments-passed-to-Internal-identical-which-requires-6-td4548460.html) but I have a concise reproducible case that I wanted to share. Also, please note the Bioconductor scenario which is potentially seriously impacted by this. The issue arises when a binary version of a package (like my example package below) is built

5 arguments passed to .Internal(matrix) which requires 7
Hello, I am having a problem with the function matrix. Specifically, when I pass three arguments (two more being instantiated in the function), I get the following error message: Error in matrix(0, 30, 10) : 5 arguments passed to .Internal(matrix) which requires 7 I looked into it, and someone has suggested that this may be the function from an old version of R. I recently changed my source

Windows 7 and .libPaths()
Hello, I'm having some trouble trying to set the .libPaths() on Windows 7, R-2.15.0 and R-2.15.1. The environment variables R_LIBS and R_LIBS_USER are set according to the help page for .libPaths() and the Rprofile.site file has the default setting, as shown below. R-2.14.1 recognizes the lib paths but not R-2.15. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong? (I've also tried with

checking package dependencies
Dear all, I seem to be unable to check a source package since I upgraded R to 2.3.0 (Ubuntu Linux 5.1). I get this: * checking package dependencies ... ERROR > tools:::.check_package_depends("/home/adi/Work/QCAGUI") I have even tried with R-patched, same result. My Renviron does specify the path to the installed packages (and all depending packages are installed):

command line arguments are parsed differently on windows, from 3.4.3
One comment: For your R devel example you didn't use spaces in the expression, i.e. maybe that's broken too with spaces? Three questions: Does it work if you avoid spaces? Does it work if you use single quotes? Does this also occur for Rscript? Thxs Henrik On Dec 5, 2017 03:44, "G?bor Cs?rdi" <csardi.gabor at gmail.com> wrote: I wonder if this is intended. Thanks,

Building from a source-code library under windows
Dear All, I have a pair of .cpp and .def file can be compiled using VC++ and works perfectly well in S-PLUS. I wanted to do the same for R; so I followed the guidline given in "Building from a source-code library under Windows" as much as possible and manage to compile them using VC++ and call it from R. But it gives different answer from the one called from S-Plus. I know that I did

R CMD INSTALL cannot recognize full path on Windows
Jiefei, you did not commit all files into the example package - your example has things like RcppExports.cpp as well as additional flags which are not in your GH project. I suspect the issue is with the extra flags you're adding - those don't come from R. Please make sure you can replicate the issue with the GH package you created. Cheers, Simon * installing *source* package

R v2.13.2 - Cannot find Rcmd on path?
Hello, I recently updated to R version 2.13.2. With R version 2.10.0, I often created and installed R packages, however, I cannot do this since updating. In other words, when I type in Rcmd build -binary PACKAGENAME I receive an error message: "Rcmd is not recognized as an internal...". I suspect that this is because Rcmd.exe is no longer installed in the bin folder, but rather, in

Win 64 package build - ERROR: loading failed for 'x64'
I have developed an R package that works under Win32, but when I attempt to build it on Win64, I get ERROR: loading failed for 'x64' More precisely, I developed and tested the package under Win32 and it works. But when I move to a 64 bit Windows 7 (Home Premium) system, and attempt to build both 32 bit and 64 bit packages, the 32 bit package seems to build, but the 64 bit build

Thanks a lot for your suggestions. I see what you mean. I have removed all unnecessary files and dependences on https://github.com/Jiefei-Wang/example, but still no luck. I've tried to install the package as a user, not admin, but I got the same error. Also, I apologize for spamming the mail list. I will keep my reply as neat as possible. The C code is: #include <R.h> void hello(int *n){ int i; for(i=0; i < *n; i++) { Rprintf("Hello, world!\n"); } } I seem to be unable
