* 1.4 -> 1.6, zaptel -> dahdi
This has got to be an FAQ, so if someone can point me to where it is
answered, I would be greatly appreciated. The documentation for all this
stuff is scattered and (to me at least) either very sketchy or hard to
find.
What I want is a guide for how to convert from 1.4 with zaptel to 1.6
with dahdi. All the recent kernel vulnerabilities are forcing me to
upgrade my home server from

application call to Gosub affects flow of control, and needs to be re-written using AEL
Hi,
For some reason (outbound call tracking) I've got a few different
outbound call process (using a macro for queuemetrics logging, or direct
call)
i wanted to factorise the routing process so i came up with something
like the following. All in one it's working like expected, however
every "ael reload" command trigger a lot of warning like that

2B Channel Transfer on XO-based T1
I'm trying to get "blind transfer" from an incoming DAHDI line to an
external number to work on an * 1.6 install using a T1 from XO. The
documentation is very "distributed" and incomplete, so while it's not
working, it's definitely more likely my error somehow. Couple questions if
anybody is out there who even knows what TBCT is.

Trying out a new version with sangoma card
Hi !
We curently have a centos 5 / asterisk 1.4 server that we have some DTMF
problems with. It has a Sangoma A104d card and only port one is used to
connect to the PSTN. Port 2 is conencted via a cross-over cable to a RAS for
modem access and port 3 is connected for data communication via PPP.
Now, I want to freshen this setup to something newer. So I installed a

Run script action when Dahdi phone goes off-hook?
Hi,
Long story short - I have an ancient Britsh Telecom phone attached to my
Asterisk PBX via Dahdi. It works beautifully, receiving calls, and the
call quality is excellent. However, dialling out is impossible, as
Asterisk consistently mis-reads the number of pulses the dial sends (it
could be a squiffy dial, I'm not sure). Not to mention the fact that, in
today's modern "want

Kernel/Asterisk/DAHDI/Libpri version matrix?
I googled about a bit without success, so...
Is there a version matrix available?
Something that would say: for kernel version w, you can run up to version
x of Asterisk, DAHDI version y, and libpri version z?
For example, I have a bunch of remote hosts running kernel 2.6.26,
Asterisk 11.6.0, and DAHDI 2.7.0.1.
We experience occasional Asterisk crashes, so I'd like to get as up to

Latest DAHDI/libpri/Asterisk 1.8 & 1x BRI port HFC based ISDN card?
Hi,
I would appreciate some advice on the following: how does one use a
single BRI port HFC chipset based ISDN cards with the latest DAHDI,
libpri and Asterisk 1.8?
For Asterisk 1.4 I would first install mISDN & mISDNuser and then build
Asterisk 1.4. Now I noticed that Digium's HFC chipset based B410P is
supported by the latest DAHDI & libpri but reading the source of the

SVN newbie - No trunk/ in http://svn.asterisk.org/svn/libpri/
Hello,
I'm rather new to svn, so please, forgive me if this question sounds naive
but is it normal that no trunk/ subdirectory is visible in
http://svn.asterisk.org/svn/libpri/ ?
I can see a trunk/ subdirectory in either asterisk, dahdi-linux or
dahdi-tools.

perhaps libpri issue (thought it was a dahdi issue )
I am current running on a production system
zaptel 1.4.12.1
libxpri 1.4.1
asterisk 1.4.25
The above configuration works.
I tried to update to dahdi 2.2.0, libpri 1.4.7 and asterisk 1.4.25
This did not work. calls came in but not out. I dropped back to the
initial configuration.
Today, I dried only updating libpri on the original configuration.
I removed /usr/lib/libpri* installed libpri 1.4.7,

Hello list.
We just upgraded to 1.6.1.11.
We are using real time information stored on mysql databases. That is all
running fine.
Now, since we upgraded, some member don't get calls from queues.
In CLI: "queue show" shows something like:

calls yet
We use the extension 611 in different computers, in the

Which dahdi/libpri combo for BRI/PtmP ?
Hi,
I need to rebuild a system which has 4 BRI ports and is connected to
Point-to-multiPoint lines, in a country where telco often "drop lines for
energy savings".
I'm planning to use latest 11.4.0 asterisk version along with dahdi and
libpri (no misdn).
Which version are recommended for Dahdi and Libpri ?
My main requirements are, beside having calls coming in and out:

PRI Callerid Passthrough
Thanks AJ and David,
We were actually using GSM gateways by setting busy forward number on the
SIMs and just giving busy signal on every incoming call, telco took care of
the forwarding and the line was free within seconds. Now we need to scale
up the setup but GSM gateways a very very expensive if we want to scale
upto a 1000 DIDs, which means thousand SIMs and a gateway/gateways big
enough.

E1 PRI configuration: DAHDI and LIBPRI
Hi All;
I have an E1 card with two ports for ISDN PRI.
Do I need to install DAHDI in addition to LIBPRI?
For placing outside calls (outgoing) via the PRI, then in the extension.exe file, I will use the Dial function? But how can I determine that I need to use the PRI channels and not the analoge channels?
Last point: how can I know that asterisk is containing libpri? In other words, how can I

I'm putting together a PBX using a TE420P card configured for E1s that is

network calls do not. When I went to debug PRI, the only command that

Queue() Ignore Hangup Request
I saw a few posts of this problem before I could not figure out the
reason I am getting it.
I am running RHEL 5, Asterisk 1.4.21.2, zaptel 1.4.11 and libpri 1.4.4
Basically, if I dial into a queue and hang up the phone, Asterisk did
not detect the hangup request and Asterisk will only hang up when the
timer expires.
There is no such problem if I do not use Queue().
Any thoughts?
