MixMonitor - garbled/corrupted WAV files
Hi, I've had problems with MixMonitor recordings. A lot (I'd say almost 50%) of those are corrupted (can`t be opened) or garbled. That is on only one server, which is using the same Asterisk version (1.6.2.18) as the other servers which are mostly fine. What can be the cause? The conversation themselves are reportedly of good quality, only the recording is a problem. Hint:

OpenIndiana production-ready?
Hello list, What''s the current production-readiness of OI 151a? I''m evaluating Solaris 11 at the moment on HP server hardware + SAS JBODs. Also considering picking up a Thumper/Thor on the used market. For a ZFS storage server, is it a better idea to just stick w/ Oracle Solaris, or is OI also a good bet? How do the ZFS implementations differ between Solaris 11 and OI? Thanks

Asterisk under SUSE 9.2/VMWARE 5.5.1
Hi everybody I'm trying to make Asterisk 1.2.1 run under VMWARE and Suse 9.2. I use ZTDUMMY module for timing and ZTTEST gets an average precision of 98,4 %. Is there any way to improve it? [LLVMdev] Problems linking shared library with __declspec(dllexport)
Hi all, I am trying to use llvm-gcc to link shared libraries on windows/mingw32. When I try to link libraries that contain functions declared with __declspec(dllexport) someFunction(); I get the link error: Cannot export _someFunction: symbol not found Removing the declspec directive solves the problem, but this is not a very feasible solution for me. Using 'regular' gcc does not

Realtime, 2 server setup problem?
All, we're running realtime and ast 1.2.7.1 stable. The problem I'm having is when you register a SIP device on ServerA, works fine, sip show peer works fine. When you dial the SIP device from ServerB however, it tries to dial, even does a MySQL query like it should but comes back saying no route to dest. When I do a 'sip show peer ..' on ServerB, the peer comes back fine, it even

joint multichannel coding (long message)
I've got an idea for joint multichannel coding. Here is my idea: My idea is a process for coding 2,3,4 or 5 combined channels, in a compatible way for decoders unable to deal with combined channels. part1: All channels to be coded are summed, each one effected by a coefficient related to its sound power importance for the listener. The sum of all channels is devided by the square root of the

Samba audit logging not working as expected
Hi :-) This is cross-posted from Linux Questions where it has not been answered. This Samba configuration does not put anything in /var/log/samba/log.audit as expected. The messages are triplicated into /var/log/{messages,syslog,user.log}. Here is the global section of smb.conf created by testparm smb.conf.source > smb.conf (no error messages) ===== smb.conf begins ===== [global]

Hi All; We know that agents can login and logout from the phone handset. But if we need the login, logout, ready and not ready to be from an application and to be integrated with the CRM, how to acheive this? Normally in Cisco and AVAYA, they use CTI integration and the CTI client (which is embded in the CRM application) will receive the the caller id or information via that CTI client. How
