Hello, I just recently migrated our samba fileservers to be members of our corporate AD domain, which seemed to work out so far. Now, I experience problems with group membership of groups that are defined on our old ldap server. To avoid recreating all these groups in the AD, i thought it'd be nice to use the old groups with the new user accounts via nsswitch. Samba 3.0.22 on debian/unstable

When I do smbclient -L -N prodwww or smbclient -L -N \\prodwww or even smbclient -L -N //prodwww I get an error message Not enough '\' characters in service I have tried to find this error message on the samba web site but I have not been successful in finding an exact match. Does anyone know what it means and how to fix it? TIA Mike

The other day I could not reach apache from the outside, so I tried to fix it by restarting computer, upgrading apache, upgrading shorewall, but nothing helped. I can reach apache if I do "shorewall clear", but with it active it doesn''t work. Now what is most confusing is I did not change

Suse Linux Enterprise Server 9 SP3 I've tried to create a large 5TB file system using both reiserfs and ext3 and both have failed. I end up with only a 1.5TB file system.
