similar to: nsswitch groups confusion

When I do smbclient -L -N prodwww or smbclient -L -N \\prodwww or even smbclient -L -N //prodwww I get an error message Not enough '\' characters in service I have tried to find this error message on the samba web site but I have not been successful in finding an exact match.
