IPSec tunnel and routing
Hello. I wonder how just correct couple of spdadd commands like spdadd 192.168.1.0/24 192.168.2.0/24 any -P out ipsec esp/tunnel/10.1.0.1-10.2.0.1/require; spdadd 192.168.2.0/24 192.168.1.0/24 any -P in ipsec esp/tunnel/10.2.0.1-10.1.0.1/require; makes _routing_ of packets from 192.168.1/24 into 192.168.2/24. If I understand correctly how it works on *BSD, these commands with make already

Screening packets within tc-classes
Hello list, I''m currently a bit planless so perhaps someone here could give me a point in the right direction. History: I wrote a shaper web tool (http://shaper.netshadow.at) and now got several feature requests if it would be possible to graph "what''s going on" (this mean per IP address, tcp/udp ports or protocols) in a specific chain. A chain represents a specific

Problems adding print drivers
Hey folks. I am trying to set up a cups/samba printer server, and I am having trouble using cupsaddsmb. I isolated the problem to a rpcclient and here is the information I gathered from the various commands. If I delete all the files in "/var/lib/samba/drivers" cupsaddsmb installs the folders and files, but doesn't move the files in to the WIN40/0 folder with the adddriver

Since upgrading to 0.22.4 we encountered a problem when services do not restarted on puppets request. For example the Nagios remote plugin executor daemon (nrpe). It''s running daemonized and its confiugration is located in /etc/nagios/nrpe.cfg. This file is managed through puppet

WIN40 printer driver on Solaris not being installed?
I am having problems with the driver installation for WIN40 (9x machines) in Samba 2.2.5 / Samba 2.2.6pre2 on a Solaris 8 machine. I build binary packages for both debian and solaris environments. For debian 2.2.5, I use the 2.2.5 source with the printing patch provided by Jerry Carter. I use the packaging/Debian/debian systems to build and package the source. For Solaris I use the

rpcclient returns NT_STATUS_NO_SUCH_DEVICE on adddriver
Hi, samba 2.2.8a freshly compiled cups 1.1.19final-1 (debian) while using cupsaddsmb, all runs well until adddriver, when rpcclient returns a cryptic NT_STATUS_NO_SUCH_DEVICE. I've followed the SambaPrintHowto 3.0 from 7.11.6.1 to 7.11.6.6, and it fails on the latest as well. Here is some more information. ===8<=== cupsaddsmb -a -v Running command: smbclient //localhost/print\$ -N
