The application object code and its database all reside in a departmental share on our Samba instance on a Solaris box. We have about 30 people using the samba shares on this box at any time.

Process hanging on 6.0-STABLE
Hi,
I work for a small company that makes radar systems for research
organisations and we use FreeBSD on the PCs for data acquisition and
processing. We have recently shifted to FreeBSD6/amd64 and one machine in
particular is exhibiting a strange problem.
The acquisition process is a Tcl interpreter with a largish chunk of C code
which talks to the hardware (via RS485 and a custom PCI card).

Samba 3.0.7, print banner pages
Greetings,
I recently upgraded my print server from Samba 2.2.8a to 3.0.7 and all
is working well except banner pages for the print jobs. I am getting

This is under Sun Solaris 9 using the stock LP spooler. In my smb.conf
I have had set (for years now) print commands of like the following:
print command = lp -dnodis2 -c -o nobanner -s %s; rm %s

error when compiling "stats" library in R-2.3.1 on Solaris x86
Hello,
I tried to compile v2.3.1 on Solaris x86 with SUN Pro compilers.
I had an error while stats libarary was being compiled and I notice that "-xtarget=generic64" was not passed to f95 while cc used it.
Could you tell me how to fix this problem?

AR(2) modelling
Hi useRs,
I'm trying to fit a basic AR(2) model with the 'ar' function. And when
I try to check the value of the coefficients, I could not find the
same value as the 'ar' function.
Here is my example:
myserie <- c(212, 205, 210, 213, 217, 222, 216, 218, 220, 212, 215, 236)
#plot(myserie, type="l")
myserieminus0 <- tail(myserie, -2)
